Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe hallways are freezing cold! The pool area needs to be upgraded. It's really dingy. And it would be great if you put a hot tub in.
Restaurants were great! Staff very accommodating. Location and property are excellent!

United States of AmericaWhile staying here our bed broke, we of course got another room and it was a lot nicer than our first but the rooms overall weren’t bad. We didn’t enjoy the pizza place too much. The pizza was super salty and everything there just seemed like typical food. Wasn’t the best. Definitely took a lot of walking to get from one place to another.
We liked that they had options, on things you can eat. They had both the Japanese Restaurant and Pizza Place. We enjoyed the pool and the variety of things to do within the property. It was comfortable and convenient. We loved the breakfast. It had a lot to choose from and it was so good. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe indoor pool was out of service when we were there, definitely a bummer. The building is a little confusing but once you walk it, it makes sense. Pillows were iffy as well, not terrible but not great.
The property was clean and the staff were super friendly! The restaurants were delicious and cheap compared to a lot of hotel restaurants! Definitely want to come back in the summer to experience the deck bar and outdoor pool!

United States of AmericaWe've been going to The Woodlands for six years and the hotel has not made any noticeable upgrades except changing the bar, which we preferred the older way. With many tables instead of the long bar stand.
The hotel has a bar, restaurants, spa, and several other amenities under one roof. That's why we travel there at least once a year to just "get away."

United States of AmericaNot so much of a dislike rather than an obvious observation. The rooms.. Need updating. It has its charm and rustic vibe to it, but it also needs some enhancements to improve room quality. The staff at the front desk while mostly cordial; I will say that I did get "vibes" that didn't always feel welcoming. One of the staff who checked me in on the first night, was so rushed and hurried and curt to the point, which is efficient but not friendly when you have guests checking by whom you've never met before that encounter. So that's always room for improvement. The same staff person also incorrectly processed the hold fee on my card of choice. I took that all in stride and would not let that ruin what was a wonderful weekend with my wife. I get that everyone has bad days and the staff person's job is one that I do not envy, but rather respect and admire, but I was not apart of their bad day when I arrived so I'd expect a warmer interaction is all. I understand though.
Every time we've come to The Woodlands and have had breakfast, it has always exceeded our expectations. The restaurant staff at Crescenzo's are cordial and attentive to any requests or questions we've had. The selection, and quality of the food is always exceptional, and the views from the dining areas are excellent. Would definitely recommend any traveler to take advantage of this offering. It's worth it. The layout of the resort is always fun to navigate no matter how many times we've been here in the past. The nightlife here is incredible. The Woodlands really has the right formula when it comes to what types of entertainment they get there to perform on the weekends. The restaurants right here at The Woodlands are fantastic. Enjoyed dining at Shogun and the above-mentioned during our stay and will always be a customer of both establishments in the Resort.

United States of AmericaWe stayed in January so obviously it’s cold out, what we didn’t like was how cold the walk was from the pool to our room. It’s was way way to cold in the lobby and hallways. We also didn’t like how uncomfortable the beds were.
The pool was so nice and we loved that there were two restaurants right in the hotel. The staff was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond for us
