Can’t understand the receipts for the property. Very confusing. Wish they could work with you more on the pricing. Negotiating.

When asked if they could give me past receipts…. They were able too.

Light in kitchen didn’t work(was discounted tiny bit for that only) However the tv didn’t work and some of the plug ins and lamps didn’t stay on they flickered off and on. Was very dusty everywhere I had to clean all the counters off! :( Had not one single dish in kitchen never have I ever had to request dishes which just never got anyways for some reason !!!

One reason we booked this hotel is that it said “breakfast included”. Total untruth. No breakfast at all. Nothing. There seems to be little or no insulation in walls. When you have rude neighbors loudly talking and playing TV at 2:00 am it’s hard to sleep.

The walls are too thin! :( I could hear everything! TVs, talking from other rooms and the doors slam very hard when others are leaving their room. So sleep wasn’t the greatest.

The man at the front desk (I didn’t catch his name) was there for check in and check out - kindest and most helpful desk clerk I’ve came across in quite awhile. He was happy, upbeat and kindly greeted us. Location was great as we were there for an event in Forest Grove but dining, shopping, gas and convenience store were all right by us and our commute wasn’t an issue from the hotel. Value of the stay was very reasonable and included a ‘to go’ breakfast.

The first time we stayed the carpet was very stained and dirty. This last stay we had a room with vinyl flooring so that was better. The recliner had something that had dripped down the back of the chair so we weren't comfortable using it. We come to this area to support our daughter thru a health crisis, so we may give this location another chance.

The location and price are great. The staff is accommodating about early check in.

I wish I could remember the names of the guy we dealt with...his knowledge, skill, customer service, and self control was less than professional. I booked through Booking.com. 1, he did not know how to determine if the room had been paid for. 2, his solution is to have me show him where I have paid for the room. 3, When he could not figure out how to do his job, he referred me to Booking.com. 4, He merely deferred me to Booking.com. He could not provide me contact information. 5, he got so frustrated that he called upon; I assume, a manager to intervein. 6, His frustration was additionally expressed in his mumbling under his breath like a scorned child; "I don't know if I want you staying now." There is much that boy needs to learn about his duties and simple customer service efforts. I would hate to have checked-in at night when the manager was not available.

The property was clean and seemingly well maintained. Their is noticeable care in the landscaping and overall building upkeep.

Front desk staff (manager per other employee) smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I mean she might've well been smoking in the lobby that's how strong it was.

Web advertising for the hotel and room did not reflect the actual hotel and room we were staying at. (There are 3 hotels in the same town. Over-promised and under-delivered.)

We booked online. The photo from the booking was NOT the hotel we were booked at. This was disappointing. We also were not aware there were three hotels of the same name within the same town. So we ended up at the wrong hotel waiting for our reservation to pop up in their system. After realizing there were three hotels, we drove a few blocks to the other hotel. Upon arrival at the second hotel, we were met by a very nice and professional front desk clerk. We found the room to be a pleasant surprise with the kitchen included. We will keep this in mind should we ever need a place for an actual extended stay. However, the beds were so uncomfortable creating a back ache the following day. The room was clean and stocked appropriately so we also appreciated that. There wasn't a view but we weren't there for a view so that wasn't important to us. We appreciated having windows that actually opened up as some hotels have started restricting those. So, had we not had a photo of what we believed we were to be staying in, we would have likely been overly impressed except for the bed comfort situation. However, we felt we were over promised and under delivered.

No bath towels in room because they "Ran out" night stands dirty, TV remote didn't work. People smoking right outside the front door. There is no free breakfast, they have free snacks in the am. A granola bar and coffee is not breakfast.
