Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI thought we book a room with an arch view and we could see the arch but it was not what I was expecting. Also Parking was a little worry some because we don't the area and we didn't know where the best place would be for overnight.
The parking was full so we had to park down the street. The room was nice but a little bare. The location was perfect to the stadium made walking there a breeze. We paid extra for the arch view and it was ok but not what we had expected.

United States of America• It wasn't very clean
• This may be the only hotel in St Louis with a good view of the Gateway Arch - that's why I chose it. Upgrade to an arch view room - it's worth it to see that magnificent monument every time you look out the window! • Right by the Gateway Arch and within a 5 minute walk of the baseball stadium and restaurants.

United States of AmericaWe got two rooms and they put us on separate floors. The place was a maze, so you couldn’t just take stairs to the next floor. The place was full/busy so you had to wait ten-twenty minutes for the elevator. The valet was a complete disaster coming and going. There was no other parking choice. Took 20 minutes to get a server to notice you as well.
Location, clean, comfortable

United States of AmericaSite said free parking, and we had to pay to park. No free breakfast or coffee. Paid for "upgrade" to corner room, that was not the corner. NO view of arch.
Great location. Clean. Close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Large rooms. Safe area.

United States of AmericaUnloading and parking was a little bit of a cluster. But we came right at check in time. There was a home hockey game and a volleyball tournament~ which explained a lot... There were people everywhere. We did use the parking garage down the street ($25) as opposed to valet. That was a great spot. We like having access to our car. The hotel room was a little outdated but that didn't bother us too much. We would stay again!
Location! It was close to the Gateway Arch and that is why we were in STL. We were able to see it night walking back from dinner and then again at sunrise over the river. We had a 9am tram ride and that made it easy!!! We like being able to walk a few blocks to the Baseball Village.

United States of AmericaWe weren’t told about the $75 per room deposit so we had $150 taken out of us and we didn’t have much money to spend while we were up there. The hotel said it would only be $375. That was the one thing that made our trip bad. Homeless everywhere made me sad
I like the city!

United States of AmericaSelf parking was already full, so had to pay for valet. Pretty sure, it's always full regardless, so don't say you have self parking when u dont!!!!!! 25 dollars per person for breakfast each day. This should be included with hotel stay. Say will bring food to room if order from restaurant but wouldn't....

United States of AmericaThe elevators were a little confusing. And the location could use more onsite parking instead of valet.
The location was amazing because we were visiting STL to see the Arch. It was also very convenient for exploring around the city and walking to your destination! The hotel has excellent restaurants inside as well as Starbucks for coffee.

United States of AmericaWould not recommend booking a room that has inside access to the room next-door. If your family needs two rooms that grate. If not, the soundproofing between those rooms is nonexistent. The whole stay we heard everything from next-door, it felt as if it was in our room. Pretty uncomfortable!
I love the location and easy access to the main attractions.
