You were expected to pay for a room with a microwave and refrigerator. I think that should be standard. Every were else I stayed had them.

The Shower \ bath filled with water when using it and took ages to drain. There were no racks to place your suitcases on. Fridges are only available if you upgrade to a better room, our room did not have a fridge. The ice machine on our floor was not working. The queen beds only had 2 pillows each. We were awoken early by a fire alarm test announcement and by the noise of the rubbish trucks backing and crashing of rubbish containers.

The pillows were not comfy. The room should have had extra pillows. The room did not have a refrigerator or microwave :-( The coffee for the coffee pot was nasty. The pool was indoors and the outside area did not have chairs to sunbathe.

I loved that it was next door to the Biergarten. I liked that the staff let us check in early. The hotel was clean. Great views.

The hotel room itself was quite small and the itty, bitty, baby flat screen TV on the dresser is laughable. It’s 24 inches at best, so relaxing and watching TV was kind of annoying. The bathroom vanity counter could have been about 4 inches higher up and made getting ready a bit challenging. The shower head is so low inside the shower, that anyone over 5’5” will have difficulty showering comfortably. I stepped on a few exposed carpet tacks that were in between the bathroom and hotel room area, so some upkeep is needed there. The pillows and mattress were horribly uncomfortable and both my boyfriend and I both woke up with lower back pain all 3 days we stayed there and we do not normally have back pain from our beds at home. The hot tub in the indoor pool area looked pretty dirty and in need of a good cleaning, so we decided not to use it while we were at the pool. Having a small restaurant or including breakfast would be a good improvement too.

There are a lot of pros and cons to this hotel. Some of the benefits are a great location in a good neighborhood with a lot of amenities very close by. The hotel lobby itself is small, but very nicely decorated. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful and free parking is another plus. The price was excellent as well. The pool was ok and was a bit heated, so that was nice. The on-site bar was a nice amenity, although it’s only open from 6-10PM and is a bit pricey.

The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were satisfactory, ensuring a decent stay. All in all, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. The friendly staff, convenient location, reasonable pricing, and complimentary parking made it a worthwhile choice. With a little bit of updating, this hotel has the potential to become even better.

The bedding was really uncomfortable and felt like cheap polyester. It was pretty uncomfortable to sleep in as it felt cheap/hot. I didn’t pay an extravagant price but I’ve stayed at many hotels for around that price and they have never had bedding like that. The wifi connection was also terrible. It kept saying there were a lot of people trying to access it which makes sense so I guess they need a stronger provider. It constantly cut out all night or had a very weak signal.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was nice and clean, the lobby smelt nice.
