Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I wasn't excited about the bathroom. It was small and outdated.
I didn't eat breakfast, but my family thought it was good and had plenty of options.

The person who checked me in. He displayed an attitude of not wanting to be there or the job was a nuisance. Minimal interaction, did not inform me where elevator was or that breakfast ends at 9:30. He asked about parking and informed me there is a 10 charge . I was willing to pay it right there . He murmured something so quickly , I didn’t understand it . I just assumed he said it would be charged to the room. Couldn’t be bothered. L

This hotel was very nice, and met all of our needs for a 1-night stay for a basketball tournament. Our room was very clean and the bed was cozy. We were able to check in a little early, which was a huge help. Breakfast was included with the stay and had several hot and cold options. It was definitely decent and able to fuel 2 teenage boys for their morning games 😊 Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Some of furniture needs replacing- starting to look dated. Also, when I requested late checkout I was told to return on morning of checkout day; went back at 6 am on that morning and told no more spots available for late checkout.
Location is great! Room is spacious and clean. Lobby has plenty of seating to relax.

We had a broken sink, the water goes down very slowly but the cleaning lady had it fixed on our last day. Also the kids looked forward to swimming and i had asked initially if the pool is heated and we were informed that it is however only the swimming pool area (room) is heated not the water in the pool itself.
We like the location and size of the room that we had. Ample space to move around for a family of 5 and we like the breakfast they serve.

Some of our wash rags were dirty.
The breakfast was so good. The staff were really nice to talk to! It is a beautiful place! We are from Wisconsin and the Hyatt Place as a whole was a great experience for our first visit to New York!

The repetitive cheap breakfast. The lobby and the noise. Just wish it was a little bit more affordable considering it’s a Hyatt house and not a Marriott.

A staffer made me feel incredibly uncomfortable during check-in. Asking if I had a female at home. It was unnecessary and unprofessional.

The lady at the front desk who works the 12 midnight shift. She wears glasses and have two nose piercing. I checked out on the 13th and was trying to reach a manager for three days so I could report her. I am still trying to reach someone. I have never meet someone so rude . Another guess had the same issue with her. She is studying I guess for another career because she had her books in front off her. She is really bad for business. It’s so sad to see everything was great about the property including the other staff and this one person on the late shift can put a bad taste in your mouth.

Elevator takes too long to come, one was broken. Paying for parking Staff makes you come downstairs for supplies Not alot of space in rooms Did not like the sink being outside the bathroom
