눉As much as you pay for these room they still charge you for every little thing. Most hotels, even lower scale ones, allow you to use computers and print things such as boarding passes for free. The computer at the Hyatt only gave you 15 mins of free time and charged you $1+ for each page of a black and white print out. My first copy didn't come out right so I had to re-print and be charged double. Ridiculous. When we checked in at the front desk we were informed that we'd have to pay $40 per night for "incidentals". I know this is common practice for many hotels, but most hotels will also allow you to opt out of this. I assured her that we wouldn't be using anything in the room or the hotel that would warrant a charge. She informed us that it was hotel policy that we pay at least $40 for incidentals, so of course we complied. However when we got to the hotel restaurant that evening to use our incidental credit to charge things to our room the, bartender got snappy and stated that we didn't have an account associated with our room. I asked her if it was indeed hotel policy that $40 a night for incidentals was charged to guests and she replied yes, but her computer didn't show that we had one for our room. How is that possible? She caused a little scene and I can't imagine why or how her frustration was more escalated than ours considering our inconvenience. To wrap up our trip we found out that our last evening there the valet damaged the rim of our car. $200+, damage. When we went to make a complaint to the front desk that same evening, they stated that the valet was a separate company and that the manager wasn't in. The next morning we were given a number to contact him, which was wrong. We ended up having to Google the numver and work on our complaint before we had to travel back home. Definitely not how we wanted to spend our last day on out mini getaway that was supposed to be relaxing.
눇The location was great. The restaurant in the hotel was also really good. We also had a great view from our room of the skyline.

눉The room was fairly dirty. There was hair in the bathroom - on the floor and on the counter. There were also a lot of very dusty places in the room. Some things looked like they had never been cleaned, like the iHome and the shelves. Parking was also very expensive. We did not know this ahead of check-in and almost had to pay $6 for each time we parked and left!
눇The location was great! Right next to Dealey Plaza. The staff was also very friendly.

눉Wish the room came with a hot breakfast buffet. The hotel's breakfast menu prices were pretty pricey.
눇The valets worked so quickly while keeping a smile and were always courteous, even in 100 degree heat. Thanks guys good job.
