Nothing much to add here. Price perhaps a tad high? It was the night before the eclipse though and all hotels were kinda pricey.

Large, gorgeously decorated room. Lovely staff. Wonderful decor in public area such as the lobby.

Water in the bath was only warm and after several tries by the maintenance staff it could not be fixed. It is being renovated, so it is a work in progress.

Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Nice character of a by gone era.The robes in the room were a nice touch.

We had trouble sleeping due to the noise of the heating system and there was noise from people outside of the Inn. My husband even considered driving home to get rest.

The staff was friendly and the Inn was clean. The decor was neat, and I imagined how it would have been in the past.

We loved everything about this property except for the comfort of the bed. It was excruciating to the point where we were up at night in agony and considered leaving a day early.

The property is beautiful. The staff are exceptional. The bartender was top notch. The cheesecake was outstanding.

Classic Victorian Inn with lovely decor, helpful staff, comfortable beds and many touches of luxury. Had a delicious light dinner in the restaurant in the hotel.

The hot water was hard to get and there wasn't really any cold water either. The water always stayed luke warm.

There was not a comfortable chair any where in the hotel room. Only one straight back wooden chair and an old leather barrel chair so close to the bed with no lamp near it.

The location was great for us. Close to family and the highway. It was easy to get around the city

The torn and dirty carpet on the step at the back entrance gave a very bad first impression.

Staff were all excellent -very helpful. We communicated with four staff and they were all exceptional.

There is no breakfast selection - just the coffee and muffins. The booking.com price is not the final price - about 15% City tax and county tax is added (which is, of course a legal requirement, but should be known when booking!)

They went out of their way to make sure that we were able to get a dinner table, even though they were booked solid!

The bed had a mattress cover with a plastic shield of some sort, I guess to help protect the mattress, but it made the bed incredibly hot so you end up waking in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. The windows did not have darkening curtains/shades, just blinds, so there was light from the city that shown in at night. There had been water damage on the wall so the wallpaper was all curling up at the bottom of the one wall. The bedroom needs to be refreshed. They are a bit dated.
