Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomAn unusually low price for an Austin hotel, together with a very central location is a foreboding combination that should prepare even the most naive gap year traveller for this to be, er.... a little rough around the edges..... My room was fine and comfortable but the hotel's overall feel is scruffy and the hallway carpets are in need of replacement or at least a very deep clean. I initially thought I'd walked into the goods service elevator by mistake, but no, this was the one meant to carry guests! There was no fridge or microwave in the room. However, a microwave is available 24hrs in the hotel's lobby meaning that there is nothing between you and that delicious late night cuppa .... apart from a ten minute walk negotiating a scalding liquid via multiple heavily sprung fire doors. The hotel appears to take pride in its once-in three-days linen changing policy, but if this borne of environmental empathy then please also minimise all that shameful single-use plastic at breakfast! Thankfully I'd returned my rental car just before arriving here, since the parking is an eye-watering 45 USD/day, which seems way out of proportion with the hotel quality and room rate....
The location is very convenient, walkable to many downtown sites and sitting right on multiple bus routes that serve countless other attractions. Eggs (albeit wrapped) and fresh fruit are provided at breakfast - very welcome and uncommon in hotels of this category.... The somewhat understaffed reception was flexible with giving a late checkout to 1pm - much appreciated given my late afternoon flight.... There is a passable pool here but I swam at the awesome Barton Springs instead (take bus 30)!

United KingdomBreakfast is disappointing - it is self-service and all food was gone within an hour, so guests who arrived after 8.45am got nothing! There are no staff there to tidy tables or monitor/replenish food, which we found very strange. For the prices we were paying, you'd expect all guests to be provided with adequate breakfast options. The room decor is tired and needs upgrading eg we had torn window curtains. Not a major issue, but surprising to see.
The location is brilliant - right in the centre of downtown, next to the Capitol. We walked everywhere and there are public buses nearby to get to different parts of Austin (including one that goes directly to the aiport). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable and excellent shower pressure. Good WiFi signal.

United States of AmericaI asked for and was granted a late checkout, but was met with persistent knocking as the original checkout time came in the morning. I also notified the front desk of a loudly crying baby at 10:30pm. I was told she would speak with the room. The crying persisted until midnight and returned at 8a through the remainder of our stay.

United States of AmericaThe whole place is in serious need of upgrading and cleaning. Exterior walkways are dirty with loose plaster, same with the elevators, and only one ice machine was working. The place just feels neglected, like nobody cares.
The staff was good, the room itself wasn't bad, and the location was good.

United States of AmericaTypically, I am a very simple person, but this hotel was the bare minimum. Lights were broken in the room blankets and sheets seem to be very damp and wet. Air conditioning filters were not cleaned. Valet parking was extremely expensive. The price for this hotel and valet does not match the quality of the actual stay. The staff was extremely unprofessional at the reception desk. The receptionist was watching Netflix on her phone and texting on the phone. The valet park were very nice though.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was disappointing. Kind of gross that everybody has to use the same half gallon of milk. Now and days peoples hygiene is not the same and not of importance to anybody. Then the parking lots are very sketchy and dark especially the underground parking lot with minimal lighting. Then all the parking spaces on the property have to have an extra valet payment when they are actually parked right outside your room, thats ridiculous. The only free spaces to park are outside on the street. This hotel needs a huge upgrade with everything such as the rooms, the parking lot, breakfast area, and a major cleaning inside and outside.
The only thing that was OK with me was the location since we were actually going to an event at the Moody theater.

UkraineWe found someone's dirty socks in the corner, there was hair in the bathtub, and the carpet and drawers were rather dirty. We had a feeling that other than bed linen and towel, the rest wasn't cleaned at all.
The location is within walking distance to the central part of the city and the beds were comfy.

United States of AmericaThe breakfast attendant was rude. The elevators were down and the ice machines did not work. Also, be aware that you have to pay daily for a parking pass not just for the duration of your stay.
Jonathan and Jayden were absolutely wonderful, they made up for the ice machines not working, the elevators being down, key card machines hanging off the wall, and being kicked out by the breakfast attendant. I liked that they had their own parking garage and the location was great.

SwitzerlandA lot could have been better. The bathroom smelled of bleach and was still not very clean. The wall was broken as in bits of bricks on the floor. The airco was broken. The lights partially did not work. The breakfast was horrible and stale. The pool unusable and one night there was a fire outside the lobby which the reception didn't even notice. The elevator stank so much I had to take the stairs. The room was unclean and I did not dare to walk barefoot. It was drafty.
I really can't say anything positive except that it was in a good location for what I wanted to do in the week that I visited. Perhaps also that the room was large.

AustraliaValet parking was expensive and valet not always in position. Rather than anticipate consumables running short, management tended to wait for things to run out before taking any action. Some of the staff were sullen and gave the impression that customer service was a chore and they hated the job. Property was tired and in need of a refresh.
Location was excellent. Room was large. Included breakfast was a bonus.
