How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hotel is a bit old, and needs some renovation. Wooden laminate flooring in the room can be replaced with carpet.
Staff takes good care of guests. Very clean dining place and overall hotel.

No wheelchair even tho there’s a sign by front desk posted stating wheelchair assistance is available upon request. When I asked the front desk agent said there were no wheelchairs. My wife just had surgery and it made difficult for her to get around.

AC would blow hot air then cold air. Plane activity.

I didn't that they didn't have phones in the rooms I had to go to the front desk for everything. They don't serve no kinda meat for breakfast. They didn't have quarters for their washer and dryer that's in the building

I did not like the hours of breakfast I believe it should be pushed to 10am and have more options and the workers who are working and attending breakfast should wear gloves. one of the employees coughed and proceeded to touch everything. the location of the hotel I did not realize was so far from everything

My bathtub wasn't able to hold water,it was broken the light and phone in my room weren't working properly and the smoke detector in my room was broken and hanging from the wall... All which I reported but same couldn't be fixed.

Breakfast area is so small it's always crowded. Also Breakfast ends early.
Close to the airport and there is a free shuttle to/from. Airport. You do have a paid option to have a shuttle to the cruise port.

The hotel required update. No restaurant on site. Had to go to a nearby hotel for dinner.

Very noisy with planes flying. Breakfast was very basic. Not a lot of choices. I paid $10.00 for a shuttle that never came. I had to get an Uber at the last min. We waited an hour and a half at airport for hotel shuttle.
Room was nice and had tv and coffee pot in it..beds were semi comfy..

Our key cards would hardly open the doors. We had to try several times before it would unlock. Twice we had to go down to front desk and finally got a different key, but it had problems. We hated leaving the room not knowing if we would get back in. There were no restaurants or stores near by and the hotel had very limited snacks and drinks. A shuttle to nearby restaurants would be nice. And a selection of drinks and snacks if you aren't going to give rides. I have never felt so isolated when staying in a hotel.
The room was clean. The bed was fairly comfortable.

A bit run down in the rooms, a renovation is needed. No mini fridge. The check in agent said my room number out loud :( also fliers slipped under door.
It is conveniently located for those needing to get to the airport or port, also shuttle service for airport! All staff I interacted with was kind. Left too early to try breakfast.

only one sit down restaurant available within walking distance. The hotel was not worth the price. I took a shower with lukewarm water and the towel rack that was falling off the wall. There were no outlets for USB. they could have easily added a strip of USB ports on the desk. Overall the room looked worn.
it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. Staff was polite when we checked in.

Facilities: the bathroom was stained, and some parts broken, like the lavatory. A drawer of the cabinet didn't fit because it was broken. The door makes a awful noise when you closed it. The whole place was dated and careless... It was disappointed!
