The hotel was recently purchased, so the owner is still in the process of renovation. The room was pretty spartan.

Work in progress, still few thinks should be had, like hooks for clothes, small table. The AC is very noisy. But,these issues should be adress and done with for the summer season.

It’s a work in progress, because of the renovations. Bed are very comfortable and it was very clean. Easy check inn.

The cable was strange and didn't really work very good. The bathroom layout was weird with the toilet being extremely close to the bathtub. 2 cracked tiles on the bathroom floor. Overall, the room was nice and very clean. There were no vending machines as the app had claimed but we had a very nice stay.

The shower pressure was very low and the water never really got hot, just semi warm, which isn’t a big deal since everything was super clean. Also the AC/heating unit didn’t really work, it would turn on for a few mins then just turn off, again not a big deal just wanted to mention that.

The new owners were super nice. The room was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The location is ideal for those who don’t mind a 5 min walk into town. Quiet and peaceful in the room at night. If you just cross the street you have a straight walk down to the lake with a side walk and lights (if you like walking at night)

I did not see a wifi network available on my phone for the motel (I also did not ask them about it so I may have missed it), and the room I stayed in did not have a secondary lock on the door.

The location was perfect with easy walking to the Fort William Henry, shops, and the lake. The price for the dates and location were pretty good as well. The Motel is under new management and you can tell how much effort they're putting into fixing it up. The owners are such nice and helpful people and I can't wait to go back next year and see what improvements they've made for their second season open.

Not so much the property but the loudness and rowdy guests late into the night made sleeping difficult.

We didn’t like paying an additional $10pp per night additional on top of the Booking.com price. Why not include it in the total price instead of in the fine print? The internet was very weak or non existent. We addressed it with the owners but it was never resolved.

The staff was very friendly. The new owners are working on improving the property. It’s needs a lot of improvement and additional amenities but they are working hard on improving it.

The only drawback would be a close proximity to a fairly busy street. There was some traffic noise to be heard late into the night. But, this might be because I'm a very light sleeper. No other complains.

The property is conveniently located on the main street, within a walking distance to the beach (~13 minutes walk), and many restaurants/bars. The room was freshly painted and cleaned. The bathroom was updated. The bed was very comfortable and the sheet were clean. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and provided good tips on local attractions.

The water changes randomly from extremely hot to cold when your taking a shower.

The location is amazing! Just a short walk straight ahead and your already near the water and shops! The gentleman in the office was wonderful and welcoming!
