    Amazing lobby, ok room.

The room has no desk (that you could put your legs under) or chair. Just long benches at the foot of the beds. Also the only lighting was three globe wall lights all on one wall. It was hard to make the room cozy. These were dimmable but flickered at the mid range and you had to stretch out of bed to reach the switch. The room could have done with a lamp somewhere with some atmospheric downlighting. There's also only 1 small table between the beds so no bedside tables on the outside edges. Beware there's no coffee machine in the room but there was in the lobby in the morning.

The lobby was amazing. Such a beautiful area, all raw pine Scandi vibe. I wished I could've relaxed there longer. It'd be great if you were working remotely. The beds were soft and comfy, and the pillows were large and luxurious. The shower was lovely with luxury toiletries.

Food at the bar even if just snacks. The television was horrible you would have a movie on TV and it kept blacking out. There was no advertising just an irritating message that they would be back. There should be a menu for channels. eGo back to normal cable service or pay-per-view. The news was not live it seemed to be a special service. If we were staying longer I feel you would need a spa, or a pool or a restaurant.

Public areas were very comfortable. The views were pretty to see the Lake. There were multiple spaces to enjoy a book, the view or have a drink. The bar was open from 5 to 10. One room was a quiet room for reading and had a small fireplace. We were there for the Eclipse and the staff was great. We had a jr. suite which was comfortable with great amenities for the bath. A quick walk to several good restaurants. A nice boutique but irritating as you had to use a scan on your phone for prices and nothing worked.

Front desk service was a little off, but it was the eclipse so maybe just worn out? Not bad though...got everything we needed just tired I think The sheets were awful - maybe just me, but I prefer Marriotts sheets and pillows so much more

Loved the decor and the separate bedroom space, great location, nice staff...awesome room layout

Phone in a room would have been nice and TV was in the living room not in front of the bed, which we didnt mind but something to think about.

Lake view, quite, mini fridge, microwave, waiting lounge with fireplace and the staff was amazing

Even though arriving after expected check-in, room was not ready (did not have linen, pillow and towels) for the third informed guest. Staff said we had to have made an extra note with the basic request.

Location, spacious lounge area, view of Mirror Lake and comfortable bed.

The elevator was not working and we were on the third floor. Definitely not convenient carrying our luggage up and down three flights of stairs at check in and at check out.

It is close to restaurants and shopping. We loved the view from our room. The beautiful mountains and the lake were right outside of our window.

Could use more cubbies or a dresser so you can unpack. Would love croissants in the morning to go with the good coffee in the lobby.

Comfy! Love the wood stove in the lobby, the games, and cozy seating areas. Great view from our room. Convenient - short walk to restaurants and to Mirror Lake. Lots of fluffy towels and even a towel for makeup removal.

Room has limited closet space and no furniture for storage. The television is not visible from the bedroom area. Rooms have very thin walls and neighbors could be noisy.

The room and lobby have a great view of the lake. The hotel has a great location within the Lake Placid village. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

Even though I enjoied not having a TV in the lobby, others in my group went to a bar to watch games, TV seems to be a necessary evil for the lack of a better term.

The queen bunk was nice, we were there 6 nights, it was nice to have a place to sit and relax, not just a bed.

Very limited amenity. No food. No restaurant inside the hotel. TV was not working for iphone airplay (works for samsung phone tho). Obviously it was because the connection was bad or something broken with the TV. The elevator was due an inspection (12/31/2023 expiration, 2days left when we stayed at the hotel)

The room was spacious and clean. Front desk was helpful.

Not that I didn’t like but personal preferences that I shared with the management and they were very receptive

The common spaces were absolutely stunning and cozy, I didn’t even want to come up to the room. Like huge living room where you can hang out, eat watch the lake and mountains by the numerious is fireplaces, read, play board games with family. Just. Perfect perfect space and location at the end of the village but right there to take a comfortable stroll when you like and come back to your happy place

We did not care for the hair products provided in the shower. The building is still under construction, not all amenities available at my time of visit (no elevator operating/no vending machines/no one tending to keep hot coffee carafe filled in the lobby in the morning)
