Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNo business space to work. Construction next door. Bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. No food or drinks on site. Only sitting area is limited to small area by front desk and outside in front.
Keurig coffee in room, fridge in room, clean, comfy bed, wonderful staff. Close to where I wanted to be. Quiet at night , one block over from everything you need. Prospect Park 15 minute walk.

United States of AmericaThe A/C & Heat unit was located on one side at the head of the bed. I didn't mind it, but it did blow air on your upper body, and no way to point it somewhere else. Don't know if all rooms were like that, or just this one. Not a dealbreaker for me.
They have free parking (first come/first serve). They have limited spaces (which I was told), but there were several spaces available, so the chances seem good if you drive there. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Front staff very nice. Price was good, neighborhood very nice. Lots of great places to eat within a couple of blocks.

United States of AmericaThis is a no frills hotel but it was perfect. From the outside it looked mildly sketchy, but all staff were super nice and everything was clean, room was big. There aren’t really any amenities - there might’ve been a coffee maker in the room but the lobby was tiny, no breakfast or onsite food, no fitness center, but it was a good location (mile from prospect park too). I would definitely stay again!

United States of AmericaMost hotels ask for a card to keep on file for incidentals, but this hotel puts a $100 hold on your card, which was quite a surprise (it was in the small print but I overlooked it). My child and I were looking for a short getaway on a shoestring budget and that $100 cut into our plans significantly. Shame on me for not noticing that in advance—lesson learned. Regardless, I would stay here again.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very professional and friendly. We asked for extra towels, coffee, and conditioner and they brought these items to our room very quickly. I love that every room has a fridge, too. The parking lot is very small, but we had no issues getting a spot for the night. We checked in early in the day though, so that might have been why it was easier to secure a spot. I chose this particular hotel because it was really close to the F train, and I am so glad I did. The station is only about 2 blocks away and even as a single woman taking the train back to Brooklyn from Manhattan later in the evening, I felt perfectly safe. I also love the neighborhood. Just one block away is a great strip of cute shops and restaurants.

United States of AmericaVery busy street with construction next door. Rooftop was closed. Wish room had comfortable chair other than chair to sit and read. And more than four hangars would have been helpful.
The room and bathroom were spacious, modern and clean. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect for our purposes. Lots of plugs and lighting.

United States of AmericaThe walls are super thin. To the point where I heard EVERY SINGLE thing that was happening while I was sitting in the room from just outside the door. Within that it doesn't become as comforting especially when I'm on a virtual meeting and they can here EVERYTHING from outside the door.
Even though it was a small hotel the room was very lovely I would say and the staff were very professional, down to earth and were extremely helpful in all ways!

United States of AmericaThe shades on the window were somewhat broken and one was splattered with stains. The shower leaked and the fridge started to leak the morning we left. The desk chair made for a rather uncomfortable place to work. The bathroom had a glass sliding door that was almost impossible to open and close. The staff was nice when we checked in but otherwise ignored us as we came and went. I had seen I formation somewhere about breakfast being available but that seems to be outdated information. It is supposed to be a non smoking hotel but our hallway always smelled like weed.
The proximity to Prospect park was helpful. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.
