눉Noise from the central fan outside went late into the night. No in room coffee, hair dryer refrigerator or microwave.
눇Very friendly and accommodating staff. Went out of their way to help us park (sold out due to New Years Eve) and get us extra pillows. Very clean. Felt safe in an unfamiliar area.

눉It was disgusting inside, we found cockroaches in the bathroom and the sheets weren't clean and full of hairs.
눇It was close to the Rose bowl stadium

눉This owner is the cheapest motel owner I've ever experienced. The Bedding was unbelievably horrible. The bottom Sheet wasn't fitted and both top sheets used didn't even fit the bed. The bed pad didn't have a way to attach to the mattress either so you woke up in the middle of the night every night looking for the sheet the pad. The bed spread was a cheap thin joke. We had to fight the owner to give us another blanket. The pillows were so small and thin you had to use a sweat shirt to get any lift. The bath towels were so small and thin they were virtually dish towels. No floor mat was provided. No Coffee provided anywhere, but he did proudly tell us we could get a cup 5 blocks a way. Why buy a nice chair to sit in, in your room, when you buy the cheapest plastic fold up chair possible. Why provide ice, when you can charge your clients. The owner made the choice of buying an expensive flat screen to look at outside as we stood freezing during the entirely too long of a check in. Why invite your guests spending three times the normal rate in from the cold. I requested a first floor room twice and at check in it wasn't noted. But we were assured our room was the best. Geez. Lastly, the bathroom tissue was so thin it was virtually non existent. I don't want to hurt the guys business but he really insulted me as a consummer and I had hopes it would be a good fit for future trips to see my family in the area. He lost my future business for sure. He needs to embrace quality as much as he does cutting corners. He had a sold out hotel and lost a perfect opportunity to secure future clients. I mean a free cup of coffee on New Years Day would have gone along way to smooth over the gross imperfections and money grubbing perceptions we were left with. You would have left a better taste in my mouth and may have redeemed the situation even. It's called hospitality. I'm pretty sure that's what the hotel industry should aspire to.
눇The bed was new and we were close to our event.
