I think the price of our stay was expensive considering all the works being carried out in the hotel and I think we could have paid less to reflect that.

All the renovations that were taking part. although we were warned there was work being carried out, we did not realise how much was being done, Saing that, it did not spoil the expierence.

Parking not that convenient, should give you more information in room about on site places to eat, and their menus. Renovations going on ruined a lot of the overall experience unfortunately.

The food many times left a lot to be desired. The best items were the hot chocolate machine & the salads & cheese/meat trays. The food staff was very good!!

Most everything about the room was great-- but could use a standard supplied microwave at no charge as in most less expensive hotels/motels. We have stayed at the PortOFino several times over the years & enjoyed them ALL.

There was building work going on in the section of the hotel where our room was, which was a bit annoying and our window was blocked because of this. The actual room was quite a walk to the hotel reception.

Room wasn’t the cleanest- we did call to front desk to let them know one of the bathrooms wasn’t changed over - open soap etc .. they did correct this however - also called in advance about an emergency package being delivered during our stay unfortunately it didn’t arrive - when it did my husband went to collect it - they charged him 10 fee to “process it” my husband asked me about it no one told us anything about this- it was our daughters wallet she couldn’t travel without her picture id!

The staff were exceptional. After having reservation for months, arrived to be placed in furthest room at end of furthest wing and kept up allnight by unexplaned loud intermittent banging noise. Staff finally moved us late the next afternoon. Staff personally came to our room to check on us and brought card and gift since this was our anniversary trip.. we were expecting scheduled construction...but one day had no hot water..warm is being kind. Then tv didn't work. Staff went out of their way to help each time..they are treasures.

Rooms a little outdated but it grew on me.

Loved the pool and the gym and the adult pool. Lived the flow from our room to get to everything. Lived the singing from the balcony in the evenings.

Our coffee machine didn't work so we were a little surprised at that. It's a very high end hotel for the cosmetic damage we saw, this poor fellow was patching up the drywall that keeps getting destroyed by the housekeeping carts. The laundry room was a little dirty so it was inconvenient for folding laundry as I didn't want to put my clean clothes on the dirty surfaces.

The room was super spacious, we had a balcony on the bay and we were thrilled! The proximity to the water taxi and to the main pool was perfect. We could easily make it back for a swim and a soak in the hot tub after a long day in the parks. We loved the opera performances and the staff were always very friendly! When we arrived we had our luggage sent to bell services as we didn't know if our room would be ready so early and we were delighted to find that it was, the bellman who brought our luggage to our room was super helpful showing us around the hotel (thanks again Hunter!) Most people comment on the long line at Starbucks but when you compare it to the Starbucks in the Mouses' park, it's actually quite short. We never felt crowded at the hotel (and we were there during the Halloween Horror Nights events) The Universal Unlimited Express Pass and Early Entry features were an absolute must for us to be able to accomplish our goal to "Ride EVERY ride in the parks". We will absolutely be back!

Kids loved the pool and the life guards there were amazing. The Halloween event was a blast for them.

On check out day, you can still use the pool, however the pool had to close due to storms and we were not able to access showers or Andy facilities for getting changed before our flight. When boats have to stop due to lightning warning, the move to buses is a bit chaotic with low availability.

Real feel of luxury, we stayed club level and the food and service in the club area was great. Pools were lovely! Persons captaining the boats were great.

Mama Dellas restaurant failed to finalize after-wedding group dinner during planning stage, ( failing to respond to messages once request was made for a vegan meal option) causing a change in dinner venue to another part of the park. It was a bit inconvenient as several group members had walking disabilities. One of the group members is vegan, seems this was a problem to accommodate.

It was very expensive. Shops were not open as long as they were in Cabana Bay, making it hard to get food later. I felt like I paid so much extra money and only express passes. No cafeteria and minimal food options. It was not easy to find our room. Breakfast was not included, despite spending so much extra money. You had to spend even more to get breakfast included.

It was very pretty, comfortable, and clean. Convenient location to the parks. I didn’t have to hike through city walk to get there after the bus dropped us off. Staff was very nice and the ferry to the parks is peaceful

I expected the bathroom/shower to be much cleaner than it was considering the cost of the room. The layout of the bathroom would have worked much better if the shower door wasn’t clear glass and if there was a separate light switch for the toilet room.

Nice location and easy transportation to the parks and the airport. Great food options onsite.

Our room was very far away from everything, they were doing some building work and had scaffolding up outside the window and they could do with some additional charge points in the rooms for usb/usb-c connectors
