Slightly old hotel and I didnt like the dual purpose bedside lamps that were also electric sockets. I was afraid to plug anything into them in case it blew the fuse.

I have no real complaints. Staff was friendly, facilities worked fine and the room was clean.

Room shabby bathroom not very clean. Front desk staff didn’t seem to know much about city facilities.

Location was fine for downtown touristy things. The room was as quite shabby damaged old furnishings. Bathroom was clean but poor attention to detail dirty around border of bathroom floor. Bed comfy and room quiet.

Ridiculous valet parking, expected to tip everytime you retrieve your car on top of the $49 per day charge.

Lovely building, must have been beautiful in its day but quite dated now.

    Nothing

This is am amazing hotel. Rooms are big plenty of space. Bed was so comfy. Didn't eat there. Our car played up and the Valet staff were amazing. They got us sorted. The staff were always friendly. Location was close to everything. Could walk to all the attractions and eateries. Everything was great.

Nothing I didn't like. It was a decent place, and if I am in Dallas again and need a hotel, I'll be glad to stay there again.

The location met my needs and the room was good for a couple of days where I was working before my vacation. The only downside was the heating/AC unit was locked on very cold, and I didn't realize it until a number of hours in. It required an engineer to fix.

Customer service is lacking. I wrote to inquire about taxi and my message was ignored. Follow up messages were generally curt and unfriendly. I rang the front desk and no one answered. The room was nice but the mattress was abhorrent. I woke with a severely sore back.

Historic building in heart of Downtown Dallas. The location is excellent. Clean hotel. Large room. We had a nice view as well.

I felt like my room wasn’t properly clean, but it might have been just because the hotel is very old and therefore everything feels a bit stuffy.

The staff was really friendly and the location amazing! I even got a room from the 22nd floor which had a great view.

The toilet in my room felt like it was child-sized, so be warned if you have an average to larger sized derriere. The pressure in the shower rod was also a bit weak whenever I used it. The laundry facility was okay, but it came with its own issues. It's only accessible by half of the available elevators, and the soda machine and ice machine were both broken when I was there. Because I didn't bring my own detergent, I had to buy some from the front desk (weird that it wasn't inside the laundry facility itself) and be warned: the washer doors do lock the moment you close them, so absolutely make sure you have your dirty clothes and detergent and such ready and loaded up before starting it. Also good luck finding anything worth watching on the room's cable TV

The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever I needed help with something. The beds in our room were very comfortable. It was a reasonable distance from where I needed to be that weekend, all the while being affordable for me and my friends. The cafe on the first floor, while a bit pricey, had good quality food and beverages.

    - double bed was quite small and not very comfortable (wobbly bed stand + mattress) - nothing the hotel can be held accountable for, but downtown Dallas doesn’t feel very safe at night

+ beautiful architecture + asked a high floor with great view and got one + very central location downtown

Room decor is the same you’d get in a budget hotel, bed was uncomfortable, window leaked when it rained causing a dripping sound, walls are very thin could hear everything in the hallway as well as other rooms.

Great location, close to transit, amazing restaurants near by.
