Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was not really clean there was some hair, but I was expected that because we shared it with other people. And there was any window in the bedroom.
The location is perfect ! I was surprise that the bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled really good ! And that we can clean our towers every day if we want.

BrazilWhen we arrived and saw the size of the room it was a shock, it was just a space for the bed and a space to put our suitcases on the floor and that's it, and no windows.
We booked mainly for value for money, our priority was location and being cheap, and as for the location, it's really great, it's only a 4-minute walk from the train station, we walked from the station to the accommodation like 2am, 3am and I felt safe, it has 3 or 4 shared bathrooms to take a shower and I found it clean.

United States of AmericaIf I knew about the guest policy maybe I would have looked somewhere else, no guests after 11 pm. But that makes sense given that it's essentially a hostel.
It's basically a hostel with private rooms, if you keep that in mind it's good for what it is.

United States of AmericaNot the best ventilation in room. Did require fan every night.
Staff was kind, kept cleaned throughout the day! I loved that there was umbrellas to use, microwave/water station, and towels to grab. Appreciated the sheet change when asked.

United States of AmericaA fan would have been nice for temperature control but I wasn't expecting one because it wasn't listed as coming with the room so all is well
I paid less than $300 for 4 days and 3 nights and I got exactly what I paid for. The room was comfortable, we were able to get in and out, and there are enough shared bathrooms so that there was never a wait. Based on what I paid, my expectations were absolutely met

United States of AmericaThe room was a bit cramped. The bathroom was shared so that was a bit inconvenient. There was no TV in the room. There was no vending machine but water and soda was available at the front desk.
The facility was okay for the price. The staff was helpful and friendly. The place was centrally located and worked well for occasion. Many restaurants were in the area close to the hotel. The place was clean.

Czech RepublicThe bathrooms are not so clean, bring flip-flops.
The location of this property is excellent, it saves you so much time of traveling. Complimentary water and coffee. Clean bed sheets. Four or five bathrooms - you do not have to wait for someone else to be done. Rooms are very small, but this is not a problem if you are staying for 1-3 nights because most of the time you are exploring the city and only use the room for sleeping. If you want to stay longer or think about being in the room more than just for sleep, choose different one. This is a great and affordable option for those who want to visit the expensive city, be in the centre and save money.

SlovakiaRoom is really small, you cannot really move in there, basically just sit on the bed. We were all day out though, so it was enough for us to just sleep there.
Room is located in Chinatown with lots of restaurants around, close to public transport with easy access to other areas of the city. Shared bathrooms were clean. Overall good.

United KingdomThe bathroom was not very clean and the room was very claustrophobic, but if you're not planning to stay in the room much then it is okay. The hotel is still very expensive for what it was but it was the cheapest option that we could find in the city.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean enough, it is quite claustrophobic without a window. The staff are really nice and the location is very good for exploring NYC, the walk to the subway station was only a few minutes.

FranceThe walls are thin so you can hear your neighboors. If you are sensitive to noise, it could be difficult to sleep - it highly depends on the other clients. On our side, we were so tired that we had no problem to sleep. When the hotel is full, we may have to queue for the bathrooms - you have to organize your schedule accordingly. Despite the hotel being non smoking place, we could smell cold tobacco scent in one bathroom (highly depends on the other clients...). Be warned that there is no window in the rooms. There are stairs (no elevator) to reach the hotel on 2nd floor, please keep this in mind if your physical condition requires an elevator.
Inexpensive place for New york and for a great location (Chinatown, very close to the subway). For this price, despite the rooms being small (you have just a bed and the door) you have good comfortable facilities. There are 4 shared bathrooms for the whole hotel, shower gel/shampoo/towels and coffee/tea are provided. The rooms and bathrooms are clean enough. The hotel manager was nice during check-in and check-out. Good value for your money.

United States of AmericaThe people over are just rude. No smile, they don't even look at you when you talk to them, and barely reply. We stayed 3 nights. From 1st day to last, the (shared) bathroom have not been cleaned once (don't even try to deny, the dust and stain on the sink were there) The wall of the "bedroom" (I'll come back to that) are paper-thin, so take a pair of ear-plug, really. And finally, the room. it's a sort 2-3m x 2-3m closet, with no windows, with an electric plug coming out of the wall, in which you have one bed, one night stand, and 50cm x 1.5m of free space to move (Its a 2 people room, so, hope you like proximity). 1cm of dust under the bed, with a facial surgical mask that have been there since idk when. I let you visualise the size of the room with the picture
Location is ok, close to subway (5min walk) Clean towel accessible everyday, and furnished soap and shampoo. Filter coffee and tea freely accessible in the morning (only reason I don't give a 3 out of 10)
