No parking had to street park and be up early cause afraid of towing - I live in bc Canada and drove down Asked for two bed in each room and got one so four of us slept on one bed and theee on another in other room not comfortable

My room was next to the main road on Lombard Street, and was very noisy. The windows need double glazing or sound proofing. I did not get much sleep due to the noise which is constant. There is no facility for hot drinks in the rooms or hotel in general. A small kettle with mugs would have been nice to at least make myself a cup of tea or coffee. Pillows on my bed were sub standard and only one blanket in winter is not enough to keep warm. The room is cold at night and no heating system, only a fan heater provided.

The location of the hotel is excellent- not far to walk to the Golden Gate Bridge or Fishermans wharf. It’s easy to get to for most of the main sightseeing locations. The hotel building has some original and appealing features, and has much potential to return to its former glory. It just needs an investor to help renovate and bring it back to life which I really hope will happen as it has suffered a great deal following the 2020 pandemic consequences . The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

No parking. Window in the room was broken and couldn't be closed. Elevator was not working. It was a nightmare. Was alerted while asleep. For a quick stop, my husband and I decided to spent the night 11pm-7am because we drop my parents off at the airport. Worst decision ever.

Bed was not comfortable and the room smelled weird, also there were lots of mosquitoes in my room. Also lots of fighting and disputes in the hallways at odd times of the night and early morning

Location was really nice, next to lots of bars and restaurants on Lombard.

The room is very basic almost empty, it doesn’t look like on the photos at all. There is no daily housekeeping. I stayed for 4 days. No one came to change towels. There is no tea/coffee maker.

Really old broken windows with the main street view, so the noice of all the road traffic was terrible. It was just as the windows were open. The floor was not clean.

The hotel itself was very unclean. Trashcan were dirty and full, we had to get our own linen and change our beds.. A maid never came in our room.

I had a baby mouse crawling all over the room the first morning I woke up. I noticed it while I was in the bathroom. It crawled back into the heater. Scariest thing I ever encountered. The owner never contacted me or tried to comp me in anyway whatsoever! The coil mattress seemed to have been wearing off as well, so sleeping in it sometimes felt like I was in a taco shell. The heater turned on every single morning and I was suffocating while getting ready. I had to call and request them to turn it off; however, next morning same issue. Overall, for the price I think I can deal with the bed/ heater issues, NOT with a mouse running around though!

The staff were really nice. Suzie and Abe at the front were great. The owner seemed very nice as well and they truly tried to accommodate me when I requested a quiet room.

I was somewhat aghast at the facilities. Ceilings were unfinished or water stained, lighting in room was terrible, no comfortable furniture, no hangars in the closet, window didn't open and close properly, etc. It was clean but not comfortable and not well maintained. No tea kettle or coffee maker in room, no tea or coffee on premises. Or ice.

I picked the place for the location. The person at the desk was helpful and friendly.

I tend to be very chill regarding my accommodations, so if you are not chill, take this review with a grain of salt. Room did not look as advertised on Priceline. The pics made the hotel look quaint with a BnB vibe. My actual room was very motel-like, but clean and had everything I needed for a quick, last-minute business trip to San Francisco. It is also in an excellent neighborhood close to Fisherman's Wharf. If you take a left out of the hotel, cross Lombard and continue three blocks. There is a great shopping and restaurant area with nice wine bars. Walking distance or short cab to lots of other fun areas.

Temperature in the room. No heat in radiators. Had to get portable heater. Fan was filled with dust. Lobby had a funky scent . Door was not secure. They placed a new door which needed a better security lock.

There was no microwave in the room. The bathroom was too small. The Television was too tiny to enjoy from the bed. The windows had no screens. No self controlled AC unit. Elevator was broken.

The outside is in disrepair, it looks like the building is closed. The sheets were not that clean.

Convenient location. The room facing the street has the potential to be truly great. The staff at check in was helpful and patient, answering all questions.
