If you don’t have a car, it’s pretty far as it took 25 mins by car to get to the French Quarter but wasn’t bad at all with a car. There is no jaccuzzi outside, it’s been about 5 years that they removed it but they never took the picture off booking. Unsecured wifi, not safe if you want to work from there.

Friendly staff, they accommodated us with a late check-out, grab-n-go breakfast included (nice sur’rise), water, coffee, that was all nice. Bed comfortable, clean, no cockroaches, mini fridge.

It’s older, but Carol and staff really works hard to keep it clean.

Older property but working to fix it up. Comfortable, fabulous staff. Ramona and everyone at the desk are skilled, helpful and knowledgeable. Carol cleans with great care. Thank you all for making our Red fishing trip from Hopedale Marina a success. Enterprise rental is nearby and Uber was very accessible.

The door on our room was pretty difficult to lock because the door is warped a bit in the jamb. They could clean a little better. The carpet is pretty old & needs to be replaced. Hair and dust is collected in the corners and there are holes in the bathroom floor where the previous vanity was bolted down.

Our room was clean enough that we didn’t feel uncomfortable or like anything gross was gonna get on us. It was more updated than the last time we stayed here and I’m grateful for that because this truly was going to be the last chance this hotel got and I’m happy to say they passed the test. All we needed was a clean room without anything disgusting in it so we could get to our fishing charter first thing in the morning.

the rooms were a bit outdated and looked like nobody had stayed in our room in a while so it could’ve used a good cleaning before we came but nothing major. We were on the very end and the WiFi didn’t reach our room but that’s not a big deal either.

I booked my room with spouse and baby to visit my oldest daughter that lives in chalmette. The front desk said anyone not registered to the room could not swim. So my guest/daughter Couldn't swim with us while she visited the room. Very sad policy. They should let your guest swim if you by the pool with said guest

We reserved a room with 2 beds but was given a room with 1. He moved us to another room and it only had one bed also. Finally got us in the correct room on the 3rd try.

Check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 PM but got delayed 2 hours later. The explanation I got from the office is that it was because previous guests did not leave their rooms on time, therefore no clean rooms were available yet. I still find this to be disappointing. Thankfully, I did not have anything serious appointment scheduled later on. Another minus point is that I booked a room for 3 people, but it turns out the room featured two small beds, both just a tiny bit larger than the one you usually have for one person, which was bothersome.

The room smelled nice and was clean. Everything worked perfectly. It was my second time at this hotel therefore I knew what to expect and this time didn't fall short of my expectations with regards to cleanliness.

Keep in mind this is not a Marriot or Holiday Inn, it’s a small owned motel so it’s does have things people will not like. The rooms have been fairly maintained over the years but it could use some renovations to the rooms(paint, flooring, etc.). Overall for the price, location, staff and restaurant I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

I like the fact it’s not inside New Orleans(20-25 minute drive to French Quarters) depending on traffic. It’s a nice quiet place with not a lot beside it which was relaxing. The staff was excellent and the motel has a restaurant owned by a local family(Family Cajun Kitchen). The food was great and ran by a great family.
