Breakfast is $30 per person and the same price for children, which I find outrageous. The hot water didn’t work in the evening, so we couldn’t shower before bed (it was fixed by morning). Then the next day, the WiFi didn’t work. It’s just very basic things that ended up not working properly and the staff was nice, but didn’t offer any type of compensation voluntarily. (When I directly asked for compensation, I received some reward points). I’m supposed to get a refund (as I overpaid for the room due to a change of dates), which they gave me and then took back a day later. Still waiting for that to get resolved. We asked the bartender if he could make an Aperol spritz and he was very confident about this, but then just mixed aperol and club soda without adding the Prosecco. My husband couldn’t bring himself to tell him he’s wrong and just bought an extra glass of Prosecco (so that’s our fault for not addressing it right away). It wouldn’t be a big deal, since it’s more of a European drink, but the price of everything at the hotel makes me expect more than what we got.

Overall very pleased with our stay but would be good if water could be supplied in the rooms.

Very comfortable room and good bathroom. Near Reading Market and City Hall. Close to shopping and restaurants. Good atmosphere in the lobby area, although we stayed when major event on nearby.

There was an odor of marijuana outside in the hallway. Also, unbelievably excessive noise on one room and hall at 3 a.m. singing and loud conversations most of that hour. Contacted front desk to send security. Mentioned at my check out and the desk person said she was aware. I will stay at your property again however, I will question the desk before my room is assigned. Hotel must vet guests better and list noise signs and quiet times then enforce

I didn’t like the pool. It was small, not like on the pic online and not heated, the water was cold! The pool bathrooms were dirty and not welcoming. Valet parking was expensive and the valet guy suggested that I go to the public parking across the street to “save” money and that parking was $10 more, no less like he said. Place was too crowded inside and outside. No one to guide or greet visitors. Sadly, there were homeless people and drunks sleeping on the ground and benches around the area, that was terrible.

Location is great, the gym is nice, the rooms were spacious and clean. The bar and bowling alley were nice. The shop in the hotel was nice too and had really good local ice cream.

The location was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. I think it could be cleaned up a little more in the rooms. Ours was not the cleanest, but it was not the worst lots of dirt behind the beds. We went to use the pool and it was so cold we could not swim, that was a bummer as we have two younger kids and it was New Year’s so that was our plan after our dinner. The room could be warmer where the pool is and the water .

Wifi limit is very small and makes life difficult for for travellers without generous cellphone data. And marriott/bonvoy website not good to use. Connection generally good. And with no business centre work video calls were impossible. Seems bit odd for such a business oriented hotel. Noise from ice and vending machine meant constant electrical humming in room. Are they really necessary?

Clean and comfortable, good beds and laundry. Pretty quiet. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Good street view from our room. Very good location for downtown and public transport connections.

They seem to have some problem with their alarm system because the emergency alarm went off at 7am on our second day there and stayed on for 15 minutes, after which they said there was no emergency. Wouldn't have been a problem but then the exact thing happened again the next night this time at 2am. Something needs to be looked at there

Gym was well equipped, staff were helpful. First room I got was facing interior so completely enclosed by the rest of the building, so not only was there no view but you could barely even see the sky. I asked to be moved and they moved me to a better room type for no extra charge which is appreciated. Bed was really comfortable and location is fantastic

This is the second time I stay in this hotel and the fire alarm sounded both times at 1 am

The alarm start to make a noise at 1:30am and was really annoying, all building was in alert, I know is for our security but I take my mom there and was kind of annoying because take a long time and the hour. Just that was the only bad or uncomfortable situation.

I tough I make the reservation with breakfast but after the checkin they said the breakfast was not included.
