Having someone pounding on my door room at 2am (even tho it wasn't the hotel's fault). The staff dealt with the situation really well.

Breakfast was great. Staff was very professional.

The window in the shower was slightly open and we could not move it! Being on the ground floor I felt a bit weird about it when taking a shower. We asked to have clean towels the next day and never received that! Also, the toaster did not work in the breakfast room.

The location of this hotel was perfect for our visit with family. Breakfast was very nice, however they ran out of food (mostly boiled eggs) by the time we arrived which was around 9 am.

Breakfast was good. Happy it’s back after Covid. I would like toast, gluten free, for those of us who can’t eat all those pastries, croissants and bagels. Glad to have HB eggs as I need protein and cannot Eat dairy.

The window in the bathroom does not lock. that made me feel a bit awkward and concerned. The room was on the second floor though so hopefully no robbers have a ladder. Something in the bathroom vibrates at night. not from the downstairs room , or if the light is on , or if the shower is on... not sure where or what it is from, but there was a loud vibration that kept me up during the night.

The location is a short walking distance to my work location, so it is both convenient and travel friendly. The location is right accross the street from both a fantastic Sushi and Chinese restaurants. and down two blocks from DTMP.

The water issue but hotel bent over backwards to make it right. We'll stay here again.

We really liked the room we had until the shower/bathtub water did not work. The management and staff did there best resolve the situation including moving us to another room and adjusted the cost of our stay.

The room was not ready when we got there after 3 pm. So the maid rushed to get it ready for us. There was a pretzel on the floor by one of the beds. And hair in the tub that wasn't ours. Other than that a nice room.

    Close to Stanford Hospital.

You get quite a bit of street noise from major street in which it is located, El Camino Real. The sink and shower water streams are anemic.

Conveniently located to shopping, dining, and Stanford University. Pleasant part of town. Property is well maintained. Staff is competent. Property feels safe.

Was not told about the $50 security deposit and ended up calling about the billing when it appeared on our bank statement. Was told it would be adjusted within a couple of days, and it was removed from total the next day.

Loved all the amenities in the room - iron and board, blowdryer, little frig, microwave, and coffee maker

The website says they serve breakfast. For some travelers that is an added value (something you look for when comparing places to stay). When I arrived, there was a sign in the lobby stating due to Covid-19 they were no longer serving breakfast. Well, we have been living with Covid for almost 2 years now. I doubt you stopped serving breakfast last week. You should probably take that off the website for transparency.

Location was great for the activity I planned in the area. The Menlo Park Inn was a little dated. I only dealt with 1 staff person during my stay (when I checked in and that interaction was unremarkable). It was a quiet place and it served its purpose - a place to sleep and shower for a couple of days.
