Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

All the homeless people around the property drug activity and area not clean. A area you need to extra aware of your surrounding your life will depend on it.

Floor in room was dirty...people were loitering in front smoking..high traffic in and out of building to loiter...smell of Marijuana in the hotel..

Shower curtain too short, all the floor got wet. There is not actual breakfast as advertised. The only machines with weights in the Fitness center doesn't work.

I found a creature in the bathroom so the facility needs to take care of that professionally. The company in and outside the hotel isn’t pleasant and I feel this side of Raleigh isn’t decent to my liking. The police had to be called because of a guest staying there. Crime and homelessness is very high in the area. It may be because of the low pricing and location of the hotel, but my stay overall wasn’t the greatest because of this.
The bed was very comfortable and nice size.

Just ignore the staff don’t be friendly, act ego. Second thing there is smell in the room you will use your perfume. Out site people looks strange, but room is secure no issues.
I been 7 days, i saw the reviews here before i booked, however it is ok better than expectation, clean and save.

I booked this hotel for me and my mom for her birthday which we stayed at for the night due to the luke Bryan concert going on. It was a good price, close to everything we wanted too, and wasn’t overpriced. my only thing is, is that once I arrived there to check in I was told there would be an additional $50 deposit upon check in. I was so confused because on booking.com and their website it states nothing about a deposit. I told the lady at the front desk and she just argued with me about it. I know she doesn’t make the rules, but at least put it on your website for people to know and expect once they arrive! not everyone can afford to pay what the hotel fee is already and then an additional $50 on top of that!
It was a nice location in the middle of everything in Raleigh, quite at night, offered breakfast, and had enough towels and charging outlets

Location is in a horrible area. Shares a parking lot with a convenient store that has a lot of sketchy people hanging around at all hours.

The hallway can use a little bit of cleaning, but I am sure it is not the case all the time.

The Hotel was OK, but the staff was very rude. They refused to give us breakfast, even though we have paid for it, cause breakfast is included in the price, they said that breakfast was until 9 am, and we were there a few minutes after 9 am, that was very rude and unacceptable. Also the check out was at 11 am and we asked if we could have a late check out, paying for extra time, they said an absolute NO, and they said the only thing they could do was to give us a few minutes extra. At 11 am we have a person knocking at our door, saying it was time for us to leave, we asked for a few minutes to pack our stuff, and later on we had a phone call from reception, reminding us that check out was at 11 am. All of this was very rude and made us feel very bad. So bad that I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Upon check-in there was a $50 deposit. The room was smaller than expected. The TV had no HDMI port to allow for extra connections.
The hotel was clean. Breakfast and WiFi were included.
