Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not much to say here, we paid a very reasonable rate, everything was in line with what we paid.
Value for sure, and nice that it was right off the highway. The hosts baked free cookies and had complimentary bottles of water for us. Very nice touch.

The difficulty of getting out on the main road without a stop light during the heavy traffic times.
The friendly and helpful staff. The location to everything that I needed to be at. Clean, comfortable room. Had all the amenities that I needed. Loved the window seat where I could sit and look out the window at all the lights after dark.

Our room had lots of noise from the road…..LOTS. That was hard to get used to. Room and bathroom were in a little rough shape. Driveway/parking lot had a most unusual drain built into it that needs more fence/signage/markings…….you could damage your vehicle.
The staff genuinely wanted us to have a good stay. They were doing little things to make you glad you stayed with them. Breakfast area was large and had lots of options.

Staff were extremely friendly and professional, we checked in very late due to a snowstorm and the gentleman at the desk was wonderful. Very smooth check in, room was clean, and breakfast had plenty of options for our family.

Older but had some new renovations. I blame inconsiderate travellers for suitcase damage done on freshly painted decor. Elevator showed signs of age but still working great.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and mattress and linens were newer. Carpet in hallway was new and overall the decor was fresh and relaxing. After a long day on the road it was nice to tuck into a reasonably priced place that was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good in a very clean , well lit dining room. Coffee was excellent. Lots of outdoor parking and convenient to the highway. Definitely I will make this our regular stopover!

I really can't find any thing to complain about I always put this in the review it's the same as every other hotel the coffee cups ain't big enough but all hotels are like that this place is a great hotel

Our view from the room had a roof peak to view. Thankfully we were not there for the view from the room ...

Lighting in the room could be less harsh but, overall, I have no complaints. I don’t expect fancy at this price point.
Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. This location is an overnight stop for me on my way to another destination. I need an inexpensive, clean room with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. This fits the bill and I have stayed here many times.

Shower was falling apart on the outside and the pressure was low, you can hear the neighbors TV and people walking around above you. (Walls are thin) Sketchy people in and around the area.
Price, beds, room and breakfast. Area was good with plenty of restaurants and stores.

The ceiling is very thin. We were wondering on the first floor and could hear every step they made in the room above us.
