One elevator not working. Had to go down to the lobby in the am for coffee; no coffee machine nor refrigerator in the rooms? No cleaning awe is until the 3rd day but there was no notice that would be the case Restaurant bar good but over prices.

The lack of ways to charge my phone and other devices. There were ports available, but they didn’t work. Housekeeping did not vacuum the floor the one day of several that I requested them to clean my room. I would’ve liked coffee available in the lobby for a longer period of time or coffee in the rooms.

Location great. Staff was good, especially the valet. Bernie’s restaurant was delicious. Bed was very comfortable. Very much appreciated the airport shuttle.

Very nice hotel. Was going to the Alberta Bair Theatre so it was a short walk to the event. Free parkade parking was great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Comfortable bed.

Beautiful boutique hotel with the best staff we have ever encountered anywhere (and we travel frequently). Got there frazzled due to a horrible rental car experience, explained our appearance to the desk staff, and they upgraded us to a suite and sent up a beautiful complimentary snack and drinks. Turned our day around! Will definitely stay there again!! Already posted about this wonderful hotel on social media.

The internet speed/connectivity could have been a bit better. Everything else was above and beyond. A few hours after we left, the hotel called to say we'd left something in the room. Shelby sent to us immediately.

BEST STAFF! Everyone was helpful and kind in a way that didn't seem at all canned/forced. It felt like they were proud of where worked. Shelby mailed us the jacket that we left in the room instantly!! The in-house bar/restaurant is very good. The bartender worked hard for us to keep the kitchen open so that we could have our favorite Brussels Sprouts upon our late arrival to the hotel (we are repeat customers!). Room was perfect for our needs. We had a King Suite which had two areas, one that gave us a perfect spot to complete a very important Zoom meeting. Location is great for anyone without a car. Lots of restaurant choices within a few blocks. If you do have a car, the free parking is in a covered garage right next door.

The Northern is right in the heart of downtown with great restaurants. It may cost a bit more but is worth it.

I was disappointed with the 2 ladies that were working the bar that night. I sat at the bar and waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. They were inattentive and I finally had to ask to order my food.
