Nothing much around other than fast food places. A bit of a walk (30 min) to the water and restaurants. Pretty loud traffic noises because right off a busy street.

I'm not sure what it was, but outside the room window, every time the air conditioning would turn on, you would hear flapping of like a carrier bag. Which was quite frequent.

Renovating whilst we stayed still some work to be done. Good location close to everything you want to go and see and do. Reasonable price would stay again.

I did not like noisy neighbors 😊, you can hear everything.

Everything was good. Stayed 1 week. Urth cafe is close by - the best place for breakfasts.

A little out the way, about 15 minute walk to nearest Starbucks or shop and about 30 mins to the beach. Very noisy as night as on busy road.

Comfortable and clean, staff were great, free parking which was a bonus! They also have complementary coffee in the reception.

Thin walls brought noise from other apartments and from road with quite heavy traffic. I missed the kettle and microwave oven. Of course they were not on list neither.

The renovated room was nice. It was clean and bed was comfy. Reception was good.

The road nearby - we were a little worried but we didn't need to .. there was a great Thai restaurant in walking distance too. The shower was a little tired compared to the room but totally fine for our stay.

We were received by Carina with whom we enjoyed our chat. We stayed in a recently redecorated , very comfy space. It was really lovely actually .. as given the proximity to the main road we were a little worried - we shouldn't have it was charming and we had a great 1 night stay . Good onsite parking too.

The room doesn't have its own hairdryer, but you could go down to the reception and ask for one (and if you do, they give you a better-than-hotel-average-one), however if you've already washed your hair and just gotten out of the shower, it's uncomfortable going down to the reception - especially that you have to go outside for it (when we were visiting, it was cold and rainy), and there is no telephone in the room to ring the reception to come and bring one. If you have a partner who will go there and get it for you, then no problem :) There is no microwave or coffee machine IN THE ROOM either (there are both at the reception that you can use if you go there, though.)

I liked the room. It's got a good location too, it's a nice neighbourhood to walk around (clean streets, beautiful houses, a nice park, etc.), and it was about 15 minutes walk from the ocean. When we went for our morning run, we could even reach Santa Monica Pier. The bed was super-super comfortable, and the air was clean - my partner is allergic to dustmite and this was the first hotel in a very long time where he was completely fine in.

Neighbours were loud one night. Parking is first come and one night we didn’t get a spot.

Bed was big and comfy. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and the rooms were serviced well throughout the stay.

On an extremely busy street, Lincoln Blvd, a main artery through Santa Monica, on the way to LAX.

This property was a great value and also offered free parking. Which in LA is hard to find. This hotel is dated, but exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfortable.

Doors are not completely sealed and positioned very close to each other. This allows light and every sound to be heard from outside. A simple door closing sounds like it is being slammed.

No fridge or coffee in the room, no work area either, no breakfast, not even light snacks, as we were promised 😔

Bed was comfy and clean, staff was super nice, felt safe, and it wasn’t too far from ocean.
