The water temperature in the bathroom shower was either scalding or freezing. There was no in between. Never reached a proper temperature in 7 days.

Staff was very friendly and the location was great.

I have stayed in 2 Malias in Italy and they both had breakfast (at a price). I liked having that. Also no pool or hot tub was a bummer.

The only issue is with location. It's very convenient to be able to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. However, the building doesn't block any sound and it's very loud all night. I couldn't get one good night of sleep. Every night I would wake up to loud music and yelling at least a couple times and usually very late (2am-4am).

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable bed. The entire experience was really great with absolutely no complaints. They even have beach towels available to go to the beach.

There is no restaurant in the hotel, but many good restaurants are within walking distance.

The renovated adjoining rooms were excellent. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent--very near the Waikiki beach, shopping and restaurants. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels.

Room wasn't super soundproof so could hear noise from the pool and traffic /music noise - but that's a trade off when staying so close to the center of everything.

Location is great, close enough to the midst of Waikiki that it's easy to get everywhere pretty quickly. Room was on the cheaper end in Waikiki - was clean, comfortable and a good base for our week in Oahu. Front desk staff were great on check in helping us to store bags when we arrived early morning, and working to get us into a room just after lunch, slightly earlier than our check in time which as traveller's off an overnight flight was greatly appreciated.

I wish there would have been breakfast included because the price was high we thought. We also would have appreciated a microwave in our room. It was inconvenient to have to go to another floor to use a microwave.

It was easy to walk to beach. We took a bus to Pearl Harbor and hotel was close to bus stops. It seemed like a safe hotel.

Noise from spa and pool area echoed straight up the building - we were told it was spring break for students and the noise appeared to lessen after the weekend

Location, service was good. When we said there was a problem with noise from other rooms causing issues in our room, the friendly staff immediately offered alternative rooms without the noise problem. Hotel is placed well - very convenient to all the attractions of Waikiki, beach towels are provided on request

The only big minus that i had was dirty bathroom (the bathtub itself), i moved in and wanted to take a shower there were black hairs inside and on the walls… and it was not that clean, and also my headphones fell behind the little dresser they have, i moved it aside and behind were so many things, probably someone dropped before… The rest was clean: the room, beds, etc. Cleaning was offered everyday which is really nice, but my bath…

Modern rooms but old bathrooms (old or stable). There were few body shampoos and also the cups offered in the room for coffee were made of cardboard-for the price range paid it would have been good to have glass ones.

I didnt like the separation of the ice machines, water dispenser and microwave, i recommend them being in the same spot for the customer’s convince. It takes time going from floor to floor. I also disliked the way you had to get to the laundry room. You had to use a certain elevator to get to floor 5. We had an elevator chase to the point where we had to use the stairs. The card for the elevator was rather picky. You guys should also install fans in the restrooms to breeze the smell out for fresher air instead of the smell being trapped in our room.

I liked the smell of the hotel and the breeze. The Ac had good breeze for hot weather. The location wad awesome. It’s near ABC stores, Waikiki beach, and many more.
