Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThis is a renovated motel, so the windows look out at the parking lot, and you can hear people come and go. That said, the clientele was respectful and quiet, and wooden shutters keep it dark and cozy at night.
The decor is lovely southwestern, with tiled floors and wooden beams. The dining room and lobby are welcoming and also stylish. Yummy breakfast and delicious dinner!

United States of AmericaBreakfast was delicious and well laid out every day of the stay, regardless of what time we arrived within the breakfast time window, which was generously open until 9:30. Staff were friendly and kind and responded to everything we needed. I loved the location because it was not in the center of things, but on the edge of things. The included parking lot space is a huge bones, and we found it easy to come and go from the city for day outings and quick grocery store runs. We also found it easy to access everything within the old town, including Canyon Road and the Plaza district. We walked to and ate at Cowgirl, El Calejon, The Burger Stand, and takeout from Pizza Centro, and all were awesome and quick to get to. The view was of the courthouse, but we didn’t expect anything in that department, and the room was really quiet. We did not hear a single other guest from inside the room. There was some construction, but the start and finish time of the work was well within daylight hours and did not disturb our stay. There were stairs to our room as expected, no elevator, so anyone with mobility issues should check to make sure to request the ground floor.

United States of AmericaRemodeling has been well thought out, both in the newer suites and in the reception/breakfast area and all is well thought out, keeping to the vision of the original hotel. FYI: The chef's peanut butter and his chocolate chip cookies in the afternoons are particularly delicious.

SwitzerlandThe washbasin was outside the bathroom and open to the bedroom. The bath/shower was a little dated with old tile. None of this was a deal breaker, but for the price, it would be nice to have everything in top shape.
The room was comfortable, it is in a great location in the main town, the breakfast is very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaIn my opinion the breakfast was not particularly appealing.
The location a few blocks from the plaza was perfect for getting about on foot. The Railyard area, a fantastic new discovery for me, was also very close. The view of the mountains from my room was lovely and, if the weather had been warmer, I’d have enjoyed sitting out in the private patio. The bedding and pillows were great. Fireplace is a charming and much appreciated feature. I didn’t spend time in the lobby but it seemed a nice area to sit and work, drink tea or whatever.

United States of AmericaWhen wiping up a small accidental spill, I noticed that the floor was a bit dirty.
Great staff, responsive, as when my TV failed to work, the staff immediately came down to my room and fixed the glitch. The room was charming. The bed was comfortable and fresh. Personal care amenities covered every potential need. Having a kiva/fireplace in the room was welcoming and made the room feel warm.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that you had to go to the front desk to get ice.
First, let me say the construction of the desk, sinks, etc. were the finest I have ever seen in a hotel. They were museum quality, hand crafted and made using wooden nails. Very impressive. The breakfast was the finest I’ve had in this country. The artwork everywhere was amazing. This is not a cookie cutter hotel. If you need a place to stay in Santa Fe, I would highly recommend this one,

United States of AmericaThe shower faucet didn't close all the way, so 50% of the water went directly down the drain instead of diverting to the shower head. We notified the staff, and they sent two young men to fix it. They didn't know what the were doing, so they broke the pipe. We were moved to an upgraded room, which was very nice, but this shower had the same problem. I hope they've figured out how to successfully change out this $10 part and give their guests a good shower experience.
The breakfast was delicious with many choices, including hot food. The fireplaces in the lobby were delightful. The staff was helpful, especially Kristen.

United States of AmericaFor me, the bed was on the soft side, but that's a personal preference.
Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast including fresh fruit and a variety of hot choices, easy parking, easy walk to the plaza, and close to many excellent restaurants. This is an older, refurbished property, not a luxury hotel, but a lot of thought has put into everything. For example: my room had a refrigerator that really worked, and a microwave that came in handy. In the lobby there is filtered water to fill your water bottle and good coffee cookies. Highly recommended.
