An older building so little things like the showers were older without great water pressure, but they are working at improvements.

The staff was nice. It is what I expected, for the price point. The staff was friendly. It was clean, the pool was fun, we would stay there again.

There were various military guests who were VERY noisy outside at night, 3.00-4.00am and kept us awake. They could have been a lot more thoughtful!!!! No sleep, so could not enjoy, the day.

Very old building but renovated. Breakfast was a disaster there was a huge line and there was not enough food for everybody, no coffee. The staff took very long time to refill the buffet with low quality budget foods.

many things were unavailable/not working. do not depend on their airport shuttle, was told it would be there at 7:30, then was told it was a little late. ended up having to arrange different transportation as there still was not sign of a taxi 35 minutes after that (staff didn’t provide and update and didn’t show much concern about it).

Room was a nice size and layout. overall clean, there was a free breakfast.

Hotel advertised a hot tub on the website, but no hot tub upon arrival. There was also no advance notice given that the pool would be closed for approximately 4 weeks. Signs were posted saying there would be construction noise 9am-9pm, but our room (126) was right next to the mechanical room, and on Sunday 11/13, drilling/sawing began before 8am.

Everything was great.

We called hotle and they arranged for us to be picked up at train station, The staff were so nice! We wanted to try to see Aurora from Hotel, so they loaned us a little lantern to go outside.

I wish the pool and fitness room had been open during our stay. Sunday's local paper was provided, but I didn't see any of the other days as the website description suggested--a minor inconvenience, though. Our room had a adjoining door which could have been better insulated, from which we could hear the guests in the other room at times, but everyone respected quiet hours.

For the price this was a great place. The location was away from the road, and a short walk to the Chena River (and the beavers!) and Pioneer Park (open during the summer months). The breakfast had good selection. The hotel was also located well between the airport and downtown, and easy to reach a multitude of destinations. The bed was nice and comfortable.

young staff were not very accommodating when it came to payments. I had a confirmation number with my reservation, which nobody looked at, but wanted almost $400 more. They spoke 'among themselves' and had 'talked' about speaking with a supervisor. Had i not got the name of the supervisor and approached her myself, this may have never been resolved. The young staff made no efforts to fix this situation. Also, we had to go to the bank and withdraw $$ as my card was declined at the reservation desk. The bank teller said there was no reason why my card should have declined the payment, as there was more than enough money in my account to cover this room charge...

Supervisor fixed the situation immediately.

Heat was set permanently at 70 and that was not warm enough. Wasted lots of space in room by floor plan. Had long area with nothing from front sink (too high and hard to reach because of counter design), past bathroom door, then bed and tv. And required $200 damage deposit and after 4 days still waiting for it to be refunded....there was no damage!

Location was very nice forested area. Good complementary breakfast, with hot food. Had lounge chair, but no table/chairs.
