What a special gem of a hotel. Very clean & welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding, especially loved the homemade mango preserves. Staff was exceptionally nice. I would definitely stay there again. Perfect for couples.

Was a bit further out of downtown than I had thought.

Spacious rooms (we did get upgraded to a king suite!). Friendly and helpful staff. Nice surprise of free wine and hors d’oeuvres at 5pm

Small minor thing, our room made a very strange noise throughout the night of one of our stays, like something was hitting the pipes constantly. I can only assume since the house has age, it was something from that! It was so minor to the rest of the trip though

Breakfast was included in our stay and it was amazing! Avocado toast was fresh and the Belgium waffles with fresh berries was delicious.

The TV remotes were cumbersome to use (no volume control, had to use number pad for changing channels). The bedroom TV remote didn’t work at all. Everything else was fine.

The breakfast was fantastic. The front desk was very helpful. The location was great.

If I can describe this location in one word, it would be beautiful. Exceptionally friendly staff, elegant and peaceful environment, and superb organic breakfast options. I will definitely be coming back.

HVAC control confusing at first.

Excellent breakfast included, desk and table service were exceptional. Large suite, drips with character as do common areas. Location and parking convenient, excellent restaurant a few blocks away. Patio seating looked lovely, alas it was 17 degrees that weekend. Fireplace in living room style common room was cozy.

Truly charming. Incomparable hospitality. Thoughtful amenities for guest comfort & convenience. Delicious breakfast choice from menu, or chef special. Daily happy hour, with exceptional cheeses/fruits upon request. Well-maintained accommodations & property. Variety of outdoor seating areas. Great location: Easy, pleasant walk to downtown shops & restaurants.

There wasn't anything to dislike, honestly. I find, however, in today's world of GPS that you can get around anywhere without having an overview of exactly where you are in relation to the hotel and various attractions. A nice map would be much appreciated, I think, especially for the older generation. Just a suggestion. Zero complaints!

I have zero complaints about Princess Anne Hotel. They were most accommodating, professional and the staff were all very friendly and jumped on any requests we had immediately. The hotel was as clean as it could possibly have been. We plan to come to Asheville again, if for no other reason than to stay at the Princess Anne.

No outlets by the bed nightstands but plenty of outlets elsewhere to plug into.

Great location with street parking or a dedicated lot for parking. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. Bidet in the bathroom was a nice surprise amenity.
