Too bad the highway noise in the back yard drowns out the sound of the brook. But very quiet when your inside your cabin.

Old cabins very well cared for. Very clean. They are obviously making improvements as they go along.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. It was an older hotel that was refreshed & clean.

The owners are a very sweet, helpful, hard working couple and they deserve recognition for it. Its not a 5 star hotel but they do provide you with all you need, the cottages are clean and very comfortable, and most importantly, with a very efficient heating system. It's quiet, the location is beautiful and you are close to everything

Coming from a family that owned a motel for 30 years, I always try to find family owned places to stay. This place is truly a hidden gem in the White mountains. Not very often do you find a place that truly takes pride in not only appearance but friendly service and cleanliness. I've never stayed in a motel room that was so clean! Queen size bed was very comfortable and the water pressure was off the hook! I will definitely stay here again on my next hiking trip in the Whites!

A tad small but don't need much

Loved the cottage, especially the stream right behind it and the enclosed porch. So peaceful to listen to the rushing water and drink morning coffee.

I stay in hotels all the time, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel room just clean. Even inside of the windows, you can eat off of the sills. The staff was super friendly, loved the pool. And super convenient location.

The location was perfect and the cottage was about what I expected, and it was away from the road a bit, so that was nice.very comfortable and the owners were really nice and willing to help in any way they could with suggestions or if you needed anything else.

The man who checked us in and out was very nice and willing to answer any and all questions. The motel was very close to the Bear Show, etc. Also, there was a second sink outside of the bathroom which was so helpful. It is a no frills motel but the basics were good and clean.

This was a great place to stay and we’ll be back. The owner was very friendly and low key. He gave us a suite instead of a regular room because it happened to be available.

We would have loved to stay another night, but they were booked solid. Disappointing for us, but another sign of excellence.

Incredibly gracious hosts. This was our first motel stay and I was nervous. We were a large group with a number of children. We usually stay in hotels. We were blown away. The place is immaculate and the grounds were really nice.
