We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

The room was very spacious and clean (big points for clean)! The location was beautiful and the grounds very well maintained. I have to say that we liked that the occupancy was low during our stay which I think positively contributed to the experience - no crowds for anything. It was very quiet and often felt like we had the place to ourselves.

It was shining directly into the room through the skinny window by the door at me while I was sleeping. I unplugged the lamp and moved it in front of the window to block the light.

United KingdomBar service was VERY slow. Our drinks arrived after chasing several times. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was nice, but overall overpriced. Breakfast was nice but portions were on the smaller side. Service was a bit sloppy in the morning. Not a bad thing but somehow the hotel looks bigger than it actually is.
Good location just outside Carmel in a picturesque area. Great lobby staff. Lobby looks cosy and one can spend a good amount of time. Rooms were very spacious and had good view of the fields and the pond. Very clean rooms. Nice touches, like night stands with wireless chargers. Cute overall

United States of AmericaThe room next to us had an adjoining door. We could hear the conversation of our neighbor. We put a towel at the bottom of the door but it didn't help much. I found my bed and pillows too soft. I didn't sleep well. This would prevent me from coming back (unfortunately). For the price I felt it could be better.
Staff was superb. Property is beautiful, very attractive location.

United States of AmericaThe only thing that could have been better if there was an open cafe or breakfast spot on the hotel property. Possibly due to lower occupancy, the onsite restaurant was closed and we had to go offsite to eat or go a quarter mile down the street to the Quail Lodge Golf Club, which we didn't mind doing.
We booked a 3 night stay to play golf around the Carmel area. I asked for a room upgrade, if available, prior to my arrival and then the front desk accommodated the upgrade to a premium king bed room upon arrival, facing the beautiful 14th hole on the Quail Lodge Golf Club. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, large tub and separate shower, Nespresso coffee machine, and wireless charging pads for our phones. All the amenities were provided and more. Really enjoyed the stay!

United KingdomNothing at all, it was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in, and I hope we will be back one day.
The hotel is very clean and efficient and the setting is quite beautiful. We stayed for part of our honeymoon, and it was perfect. After a small issue with a noisy family next door, the Manager couldn't have been more helpful, giving us a different (and quite amazing room) and was professional and polite. The onsite restaurant is lovely with a great menu, and we particularly liked the 3-4pm daily free wine in the lounge. Little touches like that show that this place really is quality.
