    The room was spacious and clean - we had everything that we needed during our stay! Big and comfortable bed, all necessary amenities. Great room service options. Staff was friendly.

    Housekeeping Service was a little off this visit. Don’t know if they were short but did not have the full complement of towels expected for this type of facility.

    The location was right in the center of the city. The room was clean and organized and the staff were friendly.

    Our room had seen better days. The furniture was all pretty beat up. The mattress was uncomfortable with many spots where springs could be felt poking through. The HVAC in our room always made the room feel muggy. We ended up turning the air on to try to dry it out. The air never seemed to cool the room and gave off a musty smell when running. The "iPhone Docking nightstand" was a joke. Apple changed the connector to lighting in 2012... but not this alarm clock, it wasn't changing for any phone. Yes, it still had the 30-pin dock. The "city view" was also questionable.

    The staff is what made this hotel. Everyone was extremely welcoming. Everyone offered to bend over backward to help. The location was also great. The hotel was very clean even with some dated furnishings.

    Parking is expensive.

    The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Well located in Philly near restaurants and key historical places. The lobby is really nice. There is a bottle of free water. Parking in location

    We were charged an additional half day parking because we were given incorrect info by desk. Told 4pm and garage said it was 3pm. I did not challenge because we were already late in leaving. This was the only down part of the visit. Oh- the American flag outside was in disrepair which I though was unacceptable and disrespectful - especially in Philadelphia!!

    Staff was superlative. Very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Location is also very good.

    People arguing loudly at 1am outside our door and they eventually moved to their room and I could still hear them. Also we were right next the the vending machines and it sounded like someone was dragging a bag of tin cans around at 6am.

    Lobby was beautiful as well as the Rittenhouse Grill.

    The hotel is looking worn & needs updating. I had to ask for more towels as there weren’t enough towels or washcloths for two people. Our room was Hugh, but was sparsely furnished.

    Bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. The hotel is within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

    The refrigerator did not work and our dinner leftovers went bad.

    Staff were friendly, great location, close to many restaurants and can go for a nice walk

    One thing I didn’t like was the ice machines on most floors aren’t working. So the one on my floor was out of service and the floor that the receptionist referred me to was also out of service. I went to another third floor where I finally got some ice. The only other thing was, no one told me about the amenities, I had to keep asking or surprisingly finding out. For example, I received a thirty dollar credit for staying at the hotel which I could have used for room service, or snacks at the front desk. I found out the minute I was checking out.

    I loved the aesthetic of the hotel in general. The entrance has seating all around where guests can wait, work or socialize. It was clean and one of the few dog friendly hotels in the area. Staff was always helpful and kind when answering questions. Maintenance was also friendly and constantly checked on my needs. I was on the sixth floor so I had a nice view of the buildings and that area is pretty lovely. Multiple restaurants in short distances and different lounges/theaters near by. Ten outta ten.

    I had no complaints

    Lovely reception Well appointed restaurants adjoin the property. Many of Philadelphia’s historic attractions are within walking distance as are the parks, museums and retail.

    Room not ready when we arrived, but getting the upgraded room with a view made up for it

    The room location with the view of the building tops across the street all lit up for Christmas was a really nice additional pleasure for our December reunion.

    Unfriendly staff Room cleaning not excellent They charged us additional 17$ for “destination fee” even though it was supposed to be already included in the booking.com final price

    The front-desk staff couldn't find the booking I had made through booking.com. The manager was however very helpful and sorted it out. And I was a bit confused about the extra amount I was initially charged beyond the room tariff. But I didn't have to pay anything extra eventually.

    Room “surface clean” but needed a deep cleaning—tile grout, vents, TV remote, etc.

    Could not check in until 3:30.

    The spacious enclave with comfy chair in #1211 where we could sit and chat with friends. And, most of all, the view of the two skyscrapers across the street, with the changing light show!
