Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CroatiaThe hotel is generally clean but as a building this is a ruin ready for demolition and refurbishing from scratch. The hotel has a good potential in location and staff, but nothing else is worth mentioning
Ms. Viktoria at the front desk was very professional and made me feel satisfied as a guest despite the many challenges at this hotel. The location is quite close to the subway station and only a few stops to the heart of NYC.

South KoreaThey really need to update their booking.com page because they're being purposely ambiguous about the airport shuttle. The shuttle ends at 7:30pm. This information isn't included on the page. They sent me a couple of terse messages explaining they're "a hotel, not a shuttle" (and yet FREE SHUTTLE is splashed across the page) and they get lots of messages from people inquiring "before booking." Of course, they could save themselves the time of replying by just stating clearing...FREE AIPORT SHUTTLE unitl 7:30PM.
Hotel reviews are always interesting to read. Some customers expect Marriott quality service at a knock off price. By local (Jersey City and Manhattan) standards, Ramada by Wyndham is very good value. The room was big, spacious, clean and quiet, it is only 5 mins walk from the PATH and whilst the breakfast was basic, it is a cheap hotel so I didn't expect anything better. If you wanna stay close to Manhattan but can't afford to stay in Manhattan, this is ideal.

United StatesI didn’t like that they didn’t add water bottles in the room and I had to buy it from the kiosk. I feel like the breakfast area I was directed in how things work My room was cold, I did try to ask for help with heat or and I did what I was told but it was still chilly for me The plugs were loose and only one was working and they were far from the bed than I would prefer
The room was clean and the stuff was nice I loved the full length mirror

United StatesWhy I would most likely not recommend staying here would be there is no where to unload your car at the front door. There is a small two-car driveway (the Hotel van was in one space), but because it is on a city street you just can't pull in or pull out that easily. And God forbid you want to back in. The driveway sits at an odd angle from the street. It's also in a very "populated" area at night and you have to walk down a residential street to get to the Parking garage, which requires you to use a phone app to park you car. Not advisable at night and definitely if you are by yourself.
The folks at the front desk were Awesome! They were so friendly and helpful. Because I waited so long to write the review I can't remember all their names - but everyone was really nice. They suggested places close so we could eat and even chatted with us for a while. It was a nice stay.

United StatesIt is always difficult to compare breakfast in European hotels and American hotels. The European breakfast is so varied, the coffee so good, and the fruit, vegetable, cereal, bread, and cold-cut options so plentiful that the American hotel breakfast is not on the same scale at all. I doubt this will change in the near future. A good coffee machine that makes real espresso coffee would be a good start for American hotels.
Quiet two-room suite with the possibility of opening windows for fresh air. Great location to the Jersey City's "Little India" with its Indian eateries. Good, friendly helpful staff. Direct shuttle to Newark airport.

IndiaI hated the breakfast! Everything was cold including the tea, the water was barley hot for coffee, it would get cold by the time you bring it from the serving area to your table. Not a lot of options for breakfast at all, just bread and a few bananas. People were filling up 2-3 plates and taking it to their tables even when there is not enough for everyone. Plus, it was cleared up so fast that even ceteal wasnt an option. There was a elderly couple who arrived after us and they were let inside but there was nothing for them to eat so they ended up eating outside even after having breakfast included in their stay.
I liked that the room was spacious enough for two people and basic amenities were provided like extra pillows, tea & coffee, ironing board, extra blankets, Ac was working properly and bed was comfortable and clean.

United StatesWhat can be made better: 1) There should be some kind of window covering/shade on the bathroom windows as they directly face the neighbouring buildings, and there is no privacy. 2) Please keep water bottles in every room. 3) I was quite disappointed that there were hardly any breakfast options. Please add some more options to breakfast(even if they come with an extra charge). Also, I was told that breakfast will be available till 10:30 AM, but when I got there just before 10 AM, the workers started cleaning up everything. Luckily I was there on time to grab some breakfast. You need to give proper timings in that case.
I really like and appreciate how Room service was provided for our room. They made sure each day our room was cleaned. This happens at a very few hotels and I absolutely love the fact that Ramada values cleanliness a lot.
