Our room was tucked away in the corner and appeared quite small given all the furniture and the orientation of everything. I almost tripped and fell at night coming back from the bathroom.

The staff was great! Very friendly. Property was quite nice. We like the courtyard concept.

Elevators are small and slow. One of the two was not working in the annex. It was a weekend and I bet it's done by now.

The facilties are nice and kept clean. Lots of parking. Easy to get to from the service road and also from Veterans Highway via the Rouses parking lot to the back parking lot. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. There are two sets of buildings connected by a covered walk from the main building to the three story annex where the pool is.

The rooms are placed around a courtyard. Perfect if you enjoy partying. Horrible if you enjoy quiet. Access is difficult unless you know the area.

Aircondition next to the bed was difficult to handle because it was really cold sleeping next to (switching it of was not an option as there was no air in the room).

The humidity in the room. We ended up turning the a/c unit up and down all night to contend with it.

The check in and out was easy, the nice upkept look of the facility and parking right up to the building, it was perfect.

The only downside for me was the bedding. The comforter was as thin as the pillows and sheets on the bed. Will have to bring my own comforter the next time I stay here.

The location of the hotel was near by everything we needed for the weekend. Pretty quiet area. Lots of food and gas options!

Bathroom needs much attention. Tub needs grouting and wall by tub needs to be repaired. Toilet lid is loose.

Bed sheets had a few stains. The room walls were thin, so we got some noise from adjacent rooms and the upstair room. The neighborhood of the hotel is not walking friendly, you need a car.

The size of the room was large and it had all the amenities that you need from a hotel room: plenty of towels, hangers, two luggage racks, plastic and paper cups, coffee and tea. It also had a good working station with comfortable chair. Breakfast items were fresh and tasty. Hotel is very close to many grocery stores like Trader Joe's.

Breakfast was very good! We loved the grits. Also great to have fresh waffles, and rotating hot foods: bacon, sausage links, sausage, O'Brian potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese/egg melts. So delicious! The patio firepit was nice too.

The bed was hard.

Great location for those of us who don't want to stay in the French Quarter or downtown, with their high prices and ridiculously expensive parking. We were visiting family and had no need to stay in the more touristy places. (However, the more touristy places aren't a far drive away.) Metairie has TONS of shopping and restaurants and is pretty safe, so we enjoyed staying there more than downtown. The breakfast was really good too-- an actual hot breakfast (eggs, sausage/bacon, hashbrowns, grits, make-your-own waffles) plus the usual cereal, fruit, toast/bagels/pastries, and yogurt.

The outdoor carpeting was very stained and worn. The elevator was not working had to walk to the other end with my luggage. Breakfast would have been great however at 8:50 they had no coffee, eggs, sausage, hash browns & 3 biscuits. When I asked if we could get more coffee the attitude of the staff was quite rude and uncaring. After waiting 20 minutes they restocked except for eggs. I was flat out told no they would not be putting anymore out and that’s what I only wanted. Very disappointed by the staff. One lady in particular was complaining when she came out about how she was not happy with her job. I will be calling the manager as well so he can address his staff and make necessary training decisions.

The room was very clean, quiet , and comfortable. Very spacious room. The outdoor living space was very nice and well thought out for relaxation and visiting with your company. Great location and parking was plentiful.

The way you had to walk around the building and outside to get to your rooms really sucked in the pouring rain . There was what looked like pee stains on our sheets .

Room was very spacious , good shower head(water pressure) and ac , which are usually two of my biggest issues in other hotels .
