Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaVentilation systems which are common to buildings that old in Miami need to be updated and cleaned more often. Mold was evident.
A pleasant surprise in downtown/Brickell areaer views are spectacular. - the river views are spectacular. Value for money is excellent and while I prefer more services when I stay in a hotel, this was a good alternative.

United States of AmericaWe did arrive very early and had a very long wait to get into our room. We went to the pool area to hang out only to find that we needed a key to get back in- this was not told to us. We felt the restaurant selections in the area were sparse and the downtown area just outside the hotel was a bit rough which is not the fault of the hotel. We arrived too late for the breakfast buffet which we knew but it would have been nice to have had coffee and ice water available for us while we waited.
We were surprised with an upgrade to a suite which was very nice. We had plenty of space and we were meeting friends there so we were able to get together and relax with plenty of room. The facility was very clean, bed was very comfortable and the ease of getting the shuttle to the cruiseport the next day was excellent.

United States of AmericaI checked in very late, front desk staff were VERY friendly and helpful. They had menus for the few restaurants that would deliver food after midnight, held onto my luggage for me, and called me a local cab when I had trouble with Uber as I was checking out.

BrazilBreakfast was a little bit disappointing. The items ran out and took a while to be refilled. The area has fewer tables than the number of guests.
The location is very good, near the Metromover and Whole Foods. The bed is comfy and the bath is also good. The staff is friendly and ready to help and accommodate your needs. Got there super early and they were awesome.

United States of AmericaThe first night we had a room that was facing the exit of 1-95 to downtown and all night we heard road noise and sounds. Then we asked for a room facing the miami river and that made all the difference. Continental breakfast was ok. very little options.
Location was great withing walking distance to Brickell Ave, you can also take a free sub train station next door to other area in downtown that was very convenient.

United States of AmericaI really didn't find much wrong with the hotel. It's an older building that could use some updates. The faucet in the shower was difficult to turn on, and it would've been real nice to have a balcony to enjoy the views. But, I really wouldn't let a lack of balconies deter my stay.
The location is wonderful! Perfect spot in downtown Miami overlooking the water! The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows, very inviting! The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. A breakfast buffet was included and provided continental favorites along with eggs and sausage.

PortugalFront desk staff were not talkative at all, you had to drag every information out of them. Breakfast was the weakest I have ever experienced in my life, so much so we had to bring our own to compliment. The bed was not made once in our four night stay.
Location is very convenient - from the hotel you can get anywhere easily, even Miami Beach. Beds are super comfortable and having a fridge and a microwave in the room was nice.
