Rooms are slightly rundown/outdated. There is not good insulation between, so we could hear every single time our upstairs neighbor moved around on our first night/morning there. Was impossible to sleep in past 7am as a result. Highly recommend booking a 2nd floor room to avoid this noise.

Loved how close to the beach we were. The second night we were relocated to the top floor due to a leak on the bottom floor. The view of the ocean from the top floor balcony was fantastic. We saw dolphins in the water the next morning!

At almost $500 per night you would expect a quiet suite, well appointed and supplied appropriately for the party. The coffee maker is the cheapest one cup model you can buy and came with the lowest quality generic coffee you can buy. The complementary coffee in the lobby was decaf or highly flavored only. There weren't enough towels for our reserved party of four (only three supplied) and there weren't enough pillows or blankets for our party - although to be fair, when requested the front desk staff to rush all of these things over. The bathroom door was so warped that it could not be closed. There were one water glass, one champagne flute and two wine glasses provided for our party of two adults and two children. There was so much noise coming from the room(s) above us, throughout the day, that we thought there was remodeling going on - but apparently it was just other guests moving furniture around all day and night - the front desk staff did call and ask them to stop which helped a little but not much.

People were nice, property is close to Agate Street Beach which is a protected marine park and very beautiful. Staff responded quickly to my requests for basic amenities (eg drinking glasses, enough towels for our party) in the suite that were not provided by default. Suggestion for required maintenance was well received. The ocean could be seen from our balcony. There was a fridge.

I think the queen bed was actually a full size, it felt much smaller than my queen. The air conditioner did not work.

Pillows could've be a little more comfortable and the bathroom didn't have very much ventilation. Other than that, no complaints!

While the bathroom was clean it was small. There is no room to put your stuff - a small shelf above the sink would be lovely. Our bathroom has a shower in the bathtub. I wanted to take a bath but could not find a way to fill it. You can only turn on the shower. Also, due to a back injury, it is very hard for me to climb over the tub side without holding onto something. The only thing I could hold on to was the sink (not the best thing). A bar would be so helpful for so many people, not just me. I do not need an accessable room, just a safety bar. The heater worked very well ... After we spent 30 mins trying to figure it out. We found general instructions on the Internet and after lots of trial and error, got it. Instructions would be handy. One last thing - the light switch by the door was not connected to the 2 lamps in the room. Coming in at night means you have to enter a dark room, get to a light to manually turn on. For safety reasons please connect the switch to a light.

This is an old building that has been an Inn for over 50 years. This current owner did a wonderful job upgrading the look and feel of the place. The rooms are small but functional. I appreciate the mini fridge and microwave as we like to bring a few food items for breakfast and late night snacks. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My special request was taken care of immediately. The room and the bathroom were immaculately clean - the floors are a new vinyl laminate and I felt comfortable walking barefoot. The balcony was large with comfortable chairs and a small table. Great place to sit and enjoy the sun and sound of the ocean. Yes I had an ocean view - there is a small road with 3 houses (one under construction) between the Inn & the ocean so you can't see the beach. Luckily the house under construction was not currently having any work done. The view of the ocean was lovely. And you can hear the waves perfectly as well as some traffic noise from the Coast Highway on the other side. The beach is a short walk from the Inn with a great view& new stairs. Depending on the year and tide, you can be on a long stretch of beach. As we were here the weekend prior to Valentine's Day, we were offered a wine tray as a welcome gift our first night here. Sadly we couldn't take them on it as we don't drink wine. Maybe consider a non-alcoholic gift for those like us? We were very happy with the Seaside Inn. If you are looking for a hotel that's modern & new with lots of electronic features, this is not for you. This place is quaint, old yet refreshed, clean with kind people and a sweet dog. We will come back again.

The room is a bit cold at night. Double checked that there is no heater and the quilt cover is a bit thin. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower (maybe it's on me)

The place is very cozy and nice. Staff are very nice and helpful when I confirmed my late check-ins. Plenty parking on site so you don't have to worry about that. The extra surprise goes to the free little breakfast provided and the ocean view in my room (yes you have a little ocean view when you wake up in the morning).

It sits alongside the main highway, so there is traffic noise.

Good parking, friendly helpful welcome by reception, nice breakfast (hot drink/pastry/piece of fruit included) and access to hot drinks at other times. Clean room and bathroom. Heater in room if needed. Easy walk to local shops and beaches/rock pools. They hire out beach towels, umbrellas etc for a small charge.

Location was 1 mile outside of Laguna beach central.... a bit further than we had realised. A few eateries near this motel but obviously most of them near the main beach.

The price seemed a bit high for such a small room, but maybe that's just because it's summer season.

Front desk staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful, especially Siena. The room was clean and quiet. Although the room was on the smaller side, (but really fine for one person) and the ocean view terrace was generously sized. I left the patio door open at night to catch the cool ocean breeze and all I could hear was the ocean - wonderful! Free parking was a bonus, and the light included breakfast was a nice touch. I liked the plank flooring (no carpet) in the room and the travertine tile on the terrace.

The rooms need update. The sheets does not feel clean. Get rid of the colored blankets. I didnt sleep well on the first night. The second and third night when we got moved to a different room, the bathroom window does not open so it can get steamy in the room. It can smell musty.

I decided to take a trip to Laguna Beach on a whim, so I booked a last-minute hotel. The reviews and the photos of the Seaside, Laguna, Inn and suites looked beautiful, and they had a really great price so I decided to book a night here. I’m really glad I did because I loved the room that we stayed in, the location was really great and close to the water, and the staff was really friendly. I also loved the Parking was included.
