Wish we had stayed longer.

Our 1 night stay at Sheraton Anchorage was excellent. The room was clean, comfortable on a high floor with a great view. The staff at the front desk were friendly, helpful and efficient. We arrived early and our room was ready. Didn't have to wait. Dinner at the restaurant was very good with great service.

Food was awful. Tried brucetta for snack in dining room, not thoroughly heated . Breakfast buffet not very good, think eggs were powdered? Barely got service for coffee or water, forgot to ask about ordering omlette.

Front desk service was great. Pretrip and while we were there. Pia was especially helpful.

Ice space was closed. No flexibility to adjust e.g. late checkout as they claimed that it was booked via Booking.com... Don't recommend the place.

reception and room amenities - shower gel, shampoo, etc. I stood in front of the reception area for good 5 min before the gentlemen at the counter even acknowledged me by lifting his head and pointing to the phone. Then another receptionist strolled in, ignored me, paged someone that some room is missing shower gel (which I found funny at the time) and went back to a side room. After a few minutes she came out and only then acknowledged me. After checking in the receptionists' services remained bad - putting us on hold and saying he is busy with 10 people standing in front of him when all we wanted is to find out where we can get some ice and then of course empty shower gel and conditioner bottles in the shower we needed to call about. My understanding is they are understaffed and demonstrate it to the customers on purpose hoping for management's reactions to a bad review.

Location was a bit away from dining options but Anchorage is easy to walk so that’s what we did.

We returned to the hotel after 2 nights at Seward and it was fine .

Not enough towels and no body wash in dispenser. Staff not very helpful. Room not cleaned for 2nd night. No fresh towels. Breakfast was not included. At 450$ a night breakfast should be included.

The room was booked with breakfast. But I was told that breakfast not included when check in. After showing staff my booking detail, breakfast vouchers had been issued. 4 pm check in time was bit late.

They charged me extra for parking on its lot, then they wanted more money for better WiFi. free WiFi did not work properly, said I could not use it on more than one device. No free coffee in the lobby for guests. i feel I paid more than fair amount/day to stay here. I did not had to pay for any of this elsewhere in my entire Alaska trip.

as much as I paid for the room, I had to pay extra $19 for parking, WiFi was bad, kept disconnecting, they wanted another $10 for stronger WiFi service. No free coffee in the morning for guests. this should’ve been included in the room charges. Let’s be honest, this is not New York Manhattan.

The room service was not timely. Requested cleaning the room three days in a row finally get serviced, then our personal food was thrown away when the room was cleaned.

As I said above lack of a restaurant in the evening, also good to see coffee vending machine but the wife and I like hot chocolate last thing at night but this was not available.

The Breakfast we had was excellent but very disappointed in evening meal provision only room service. I always have preferred to Eat in a restaurant and an hotel the size of Sheraton, this was disappointing.

Most of the personal is not qualified for their job. A very few exceptions. They are also understaffed.

The flat rate in breakfast, I had some fruits and coffee for breakfast and I was charged $25 for the meal. If I had the buffet that was available there then I would understand why I was charged that much.

I liked everything about the hotel, the location and the breakfast was exceptional!

We checked in late and the location is a little walk from other hotels and shops which meant there were a lot of homeless people hanging around the rear of the hotel. They didn't approach us but just made us feel uncomfortable, I understand this is however not the hotels fault and internally like I said the hotel was great.

Very clean and very friendly staff, we only stayed for 1 night but felt very comfortable here once inside the hotel. They also gave out free cookies at the front desk which all adds to feeling welcome.

The only thing that kinda was a bummer is the Ice Spa is not open. It is hands down the most luxurious Spa in all of Anchorage. I looked forward to watching a new movie maybe on demand or buy one, @ the end of the night they don’t have any movie service, definitely not the end of the world .

I absolutely Love their beds. They feel like you are sleeping in a cloud. Pillows everything are great!
