The room was not very clean and we found some insects in the toilet. The price is also quite high.

The hotel has a nice swimming pool and it is on the beach. There are some restaurants inside that are quite good. Moreover, the staff was quite friendly. The hotel has a shuttle to go to the city center which is quite convenient.

Although this property is located on the beach, it is a long walk to the beach so if you forget something in your room, it is a long walk back and forth, hot tub is small.

Check in and out was very easy and staff were very friendly, rooms were nicely renovated, great place to watch sunsets and collect sand dollars, parking was convenient and included. State park is next door and a great place to fish. Enjoyed musician by the pool.

The parking fee for guests was totally bogus. A 7 day stay at current room rates should be sufficient- it needs to end. Phone did not work- the patio door lock was broken and safety bar missing. Both curtain rod connections broke off during stay. All Minor inconveniences however the quick response and professional manner in which all issues were addressed was impressive. In addition the closing mechanism of room doors needs adjusting-doos were constantly slamming.

All hotel personnel were extremely courteous. From front desk to facilities to housekeeping and entire restaurant (both) staff. I would highly recommend (and have) Sand Key as the place to stay while in Clearwater. However please also see comments on “ dislikes”

The employees were exceptional! The pool area is very nice, kid friendly but adult friendly as well! They have a kiddie pool and a big pool and a hot tub. There was a little pool bar that had amazing service. The access to the beach was very convenient and not crowded! The food at the restaurants in the hotel were very good!

We have no access to the beach because of Idalia. The fitness center was closed. The fridge is too small and there is no microwave in the room. The extra bed is not comfortable at all. They should have adjusted the price of the room since we chose this hotel because of these reasons.

Small room (double queen),Super small bathroom (not ideal for 3 women sharing a room), needs more hanging space in the room for hanging wet swimwear, and the bathroom only had two spots for hanging towels but the room could accommodate 4 people. Coffee pot area was in the bathroom.

Love the location and the trolley stop outside the hotel was convenient. Comfy beds and great pool and beach area.

There were a lot of sea gulls around the pool area hovering right above peoples heads. One seagull took the sandwich right out of my hand that I was eating poolside. You should be able to sit and eat poolside without being worried about nuisance animals.

Renovations being done during our stay was begun to early and directly after an emergency being called over loud speakers. Of course, it was no one’s fault for that emergency, it was just so startling and then when we got back to the room, the noise from the construction started. ugh

The resort itself is beautiful. The location excellent and the pool adjacent to the beach was awesome. The room was so clean and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable!

the property generally is dark and needs brightening up. the dining room lacks windows or any outside view which is a great shame bearing in mind the location. The pool was disappointing as it is way to small for a hotel of this size and cost.

My room was cleaned very late most days. This was not enjoyable when I wanted to shower and relax Ashe a beach/pool day but it was done yet.

I enjoyed the quiet beach. There was plenty of room, no matter what time of day.
