A bit noisy for sleeping with a pub across the street from Cannery Row view rooms. Also, this hotel brings breakfast to your room which was lovely except for while we were trying to sleep in after a late night, we kept being awoken by staff knocking on nearby doors and saying “breakfast”

Fabulous to come and just walk everywhere on Cannery Row. The hotel room window seat was my favorite feature!

The ocean front room was wonderful - so worthwhile having the sea view as we could watch the otters through the binoculars provided. The decor was very inviting

There was no parking except $36. daily valet parking. Also taxes in the area were extreme. Those two items added $150 to our room for 2 nights. The coffee maker only made coffee; you couldn’t heat water for tea, but they brought hot water at breakfast. It was all very expensive for us.

We liked the breakfast and the happy hour. The room was very comfortable with fireplace. The room was very quiet. Everything worked perfectly.

My fault for not reading the details but I didn't realize we would have to pay additional for parking and we felt obligated, it was even suggested to us, to tip each time our car was brought to us, so the parking fee really added up. Otherwise it was all fantastic.

What a beautiful hotel! I chose this hotel for the location and I was not disappointed! Located on the water, in the heart of Monterey. We were easily able to walk around the town to fantastic restaurants, the aquarium and we enjoyed the beach right out in front of the hotel. Our room was not only comfortable but so cute with a great little bay window I enjoyed sitting in. And we loved the made to order breakfast that was delivered to our room each morning. I would highly recommend the Spindrift and look forward to staying again.

Our bed was a tad firmer that we like. But the bedding and pillows were awesome.

The view was spectacular. We could see the otters frolicking in the water from our room. Breakfast was simple, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and it is brought to your room, what a bonus!! The afternoon wine and cheese reception reminded us of how it used to be when you went out of town. We met lovely people staying at the Spindrift too. Located a few blocks from the Aquarium, surrounded by restaurants and shops.
