Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe tub had some mess in it. I was willing to shower but definitely not have a bath. In the corner above the tub wants a patch of black nasty. Possibly mold. My guest cleaned it for us. The cleaner should have seen this without doubt.
The location could not be better. The bed was very comfortable and the coffee was delicious and served all day. The breakfast was also good

United StatesParking was a bit of a hassle. It was a far walk especially with being out of town carrying our luggage maybe have a luggage cart near by to help with that issue. Granite it was Mardi Gras so roads were closed.
I love that location of the hotel was in perfect distance from everything. It was right near canal street and not to far of a walk from bourbon street. Also the Staff was super amazing very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

United StatesThe room itself was nice. The big problem was that the "heater" was loud and only produced very cold air. We reported it to the desk. When we came back, the thermostat was set to 85 F, but was still blowing out very cold air. We ended up just turning it off. I'm wondering if the heating system on the entire 3rd floor was out when we were there. Downstairs in the lobby was warm (we'd hang out there in the evening to warm up), but the third floor and our room was frigid. Breakfast had very low variety compared to other Best Westerns that I've stayed in. However, in all fairness, it's hard to compete with fresh beignets offered at nearby restaurants.
The location was fantastic. Easy access to the River, the French Quarter, public transportation, and a lot of great restaurants.

The hotel is in a convenient location, near the heart of the French Quarter and convenient to the WW2 museum. The breakfast was good, and the staff was excellent.

United StatesI specifically booked the room because it came with a whirlpool tub. The jets didn't work at all though. The room didn't have a window which was an interesting situation but wasn't as weird as I thought it'd be. The breakfast was lackluster at best. Whether that was the standard or happenstance because of a large group, I can't say. But Ruby Slipper Cafe is immediately next door and they rock an awesome menu!
