Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Kingdomthe room was smaller than we were expecting, . . one of the double beds had a dip in the middle!! . .obviously had a lot of use!! (if you know what i mean!!) & needs to be changed! . . the facilities that were mentioned on the website, which was one of the reasons we chose the accommodation were non existent! . .so we were not impressed, . .ie, hairdryer, kettle, tea & coffee maker, iron, . .we asked about these items, it was like we were asking for gold, . .we said it should,nt be on the website if its not available! . .it was the end of our second day, . .when we had some of the items left in our room, . .plus a lot of the other rooms seemed to be being used like a half way house!! . .young mums with children, . .
not a lot!! . .

United States of AmericaThe bathroom to be more spacious and more parking there's only 6 parking spots in the parking lot.
The 1 queen room was spacious. The bathroom is small. The room does have a fridge. There's a microwave in the lobby. The room I stayed in 601 had the best view of sunset park. You can see the tower. You can see the more state building. The empire State building. Its looks so pretty at night with all the lights lit up.

United States of AmericaI killed a roach in the bathroom the 2nd day; the faucet fixture was wobbly; the room smelled of detergent and although they told me 3pm check-in, I arrived at 4:30 and had to wait literally an HOUR in their sketchy lobby to get in. They gave me NO discount - and to the contrary, while I was showing $169 as the rental while I was there, for the Sunday - I paid well over $400 a night for the Thursday thru Saturday period, which is ridiculous for a 2 star hotel in Brooklyn. WAY TOO EXPENSIVE (not a great value). We were on the 2nd floor and the street outside was loud all night with traffic. Also, there was a lot of trash in the back lot - half was removed one day - but I'm not sure why it was in loose bags.
What I most appreciated was that I was able to park for the duration of my stay, and even on the day I checked out. They had the room, but it was nice of them to let me park. They have LOTS of cameras, and my vehicle felt safe. Plus, being 7'2" it was nice that I could be outdoors - though their basement lot might have accommodated me as well - so that was great. The fridge worked, the shower was fine, it felt clean, and with the window closed, the street was less deafening. NEIGHBORHOOD AWESOMENESS: best diner & staff on the corner & exceptional Mexican across from it (Maria's), took care of our food needs quite well!

United States of AmericaThe room itself reminded me of a regular house room but worn out. Walls and furniture had dents and stains. Fridge was very small and had a weird extended board piece on the fridge door. More importantly my room, 505, door doesn't close properly - you have to slam it to close and it doesn't align properly so the dead bolt doesn't go in.
First come first serve parking as it is a bit isolated away from the street which was nice. Bed was actually comfortable compared to other hotels I've stayed in the area. Wallpaper was tacky and amusing.

ItalyThe hotel is very old and could use a refurbishment. Rooms are extremely basic with no amenities.
The hotel is clean and very close to the subway. It’s Very easy to commute into Manhattan. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby. Rooms are very quiet and we had a lovely view of the city skyline from our window.

United KingdomThe hotel was tired and in need of a little tlc. The water was tepid at best, items listed as being in the rooms weren't there and despite the posters advertising a $500 fine for anyone found smoking my bedside table was covered in cigarette burns.
We liked the location, easy to get into Manhattan but a nice "village" feel to the area to wind down in after a day in the city.

United States of AmericaThe $500 fee for having guests, or deliveries, was not listed online. We had a relative in the city, so this was upsetting. But that was pretty much it
The beds are comfortable, there was an AC and TV. Shower was nice, soap provided. Mini fridge was a major plus.
