I didn't particularly appreciate how the rooms smelled like water and somewhat like mildew. I had to wash my hair four times to get that smell out and wash my bathing suit twice.

I like how the motel was literally behind the boardwalk. All you had to do was cross the street; the boardwalk entrance was right there. The pool was empty, which was great.

Room was smaller then advertised, sofa bed was older then my grandmother.

The room smelled awful upon entrance. My husband has a bad nose and even he could smell it. It was like back bay, urine, and musty. We turned the AC on and opened the door and window and it was better within an hour and luckily wasn't there when we got back for the night. It really rubbed us the wrong way.

The ONLY thing we liked was the proximity to the beach, boardwalk, and our friend's wedding reception.

Place is run down and dated, though well-maintained (newer ac units, refrigerator, tv, and blinds) No tub (just shower), no bath mat. No screen in window.

Staff friendly and helpful, comfortable bed, free easy parking, very close to beach. Room was clean. This was our second stay here and we'd come again.

Behind the endtabe there was alot of dirt and garbage. AS well along the baseboards and corners in the bathroom. There was a wet smell like a damp rag. But I assumed it was coming from the Ac that was running nonstop or the puddles of water outside the window.

the women on staff when i arrived was very rude. i have been going to this hotel since 1987 and have never had a problem like this. you see i had rented the small apartment which i have done for the last couple of years cause the kids are much old now. I have always got two parking passes without a problem. this year i got down there after my son had check in. which she gave him a hard time mind you. i asked her for a parking pass for the weekend. she told me straight out no. you have to park down in the free parking area. i have 30 rooms and they are for everyone that has a car. one car per room. there is over 60 parking spots. she sat there and was rude and very mean. then she came out with i don't care if you pay $1000.00 you can't have a parking pass. i have never in all my years going there been treat so badly by this woman. when we went to check out we spoke to the nice gentleman who is the owner. he has always been nice and has always been Accommodating. When my son came in on Friday, he helps him our room and everything. i explain what happened. and he was so polygenic and said he will talk to her. We weren't the only ones who had problems with her. their where other people there that come down the same time, we do that are regulars. like us and she gave them problems too. and they complained.

The rooms are SMALL and run-down. The outside door was partially kicked in at the bottom. Staining on ceilings, mold in bathroom. Curious about the safety hazards of multiple electrical cords.

Proximity to boardwalk, amusements, and beach were very convenient. Pool was nice for kids.

Front door and door jams need to be replaced along with remodeling the bathroom. The room floor felt like it had a film on it, as if it was washed by film of soap was left.

Fantastic location. Nice size room for up to 4 guests. Staff was friendly.
