My family have stayed at Tanglwood several times and this was the first time I came. As my room was in a section further from my family, my brother requested if I could be moved to room near them and the office graciously accommodated me however my room was not satisfactorily clean. It is a good thing that I always have Lysol wipes and disinfectant with me to when i stay at hotels/.condos. I did not get time to make a comment with office before I left but next time I will be sure to do so. If the room was cleaner, this stay would have easily been a 10. I really like Tanglwood Resort.

There were just 2 minor things. One I killed a roach in the bedroom. YUCK! And (while I fully understand it) we felt the additional $50.00 cleaning fee was a bit high considering we stripped the bed AND took out the trash.

We loved our condo. It had everything we needed or wanted.

The property is dated. Television, WiFi access and decor need updating. There are some small maintenance issues too, but staff has always been responsive.

The location provides great access to the lake affording great views and opportunities to see beautiful sunsets. The staff are GREAT!

I didn't LIKE THE CLEANING in the bathrooms i had to clean them with Clorox

I really love this place it is very cozy to relax this is my second time coming and i will love to come again but i wil like to say that the cleaning is not very good sorry the toilettes wasn't that clean :(

Place was real roomy and view of lake beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen ware had a dishwasher big refrigerator w ice maker. Plenty of parking. Check in and out easy and pleasant. Would recommend this place for a very good place to stay and enjoy area. A lot to view up in Hawley and Honesdale pa.

The upkeep on the exterior could have been better. There were a lot of spider webs and spiders all over the front door and patio.

The location was perfect. Directly across from the lake and close to all restaurants!

WiFi was awful, basically non existent

There was breakfast? The 1 bedroom was just fine for the 2 of us. The cleaning lady discovered we left one drawer full of clothes, and the manager tracked us down and sent them to us. Thank you so much! Great service!

Everything was nice and comfortable, it just wasn’t that clean. There was a wrapper from food on the floor in the room when we got in. Dead bugs on the window sills. It wasn’t horrible and expected for the price, but could have been a little tighter.

There’s not much to do on the property, so you have to go off site for fun and entertainment. Other than one outdoor pool and a small game room, there’s nothing else!

Nice place to stay...walk across the road to a beautiful lake with a walking trail...benches to sit and enjoy a gorgeous sunset!

Clean, shops and restaurants accessible, staff was nice and helpful, Covid safe.

The swallows try to nest on the lights over the room entrance and overhangs. It would be nice if they could get rid of them, since they make a big mess.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The view in the the one bedroom apartments is exceptional. Big plus is having your own kitchen and entrance especially during Covid.

I don’t feel that guests at a “resort” should have to take their own trash out nor should they have to remove linens and towels for exchange once a week.
