To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaYou don’t get any wifi. You have to be an Hilton Honours member! It is 2024. You also don’t get complimentary coffee/tea inside your room unless specifically asked from room service to bring in a coffee machine. You will pay for anything and everything! Check your bill when you leave! I visit a lot of hotels over the world and found these things very odd. In the end the stay will be way more expensive than originally thought.

MexicoBreakfast was IMPOSSIBLE, the time to get a table, even with reservations was impossible. We ended up leaving the hotel to have breakfast out of the hotel. The seats at the lobby bar are very very uncomfortable.
The rooms are in great condition, the bar at the pool level is very good.

AustraliaI was woken by protesters outside at 7.00 am. I was moved to another room on request, however the room was on level 7, right under the restaurant kitchen.. Cleaners were cleaning at 1.00 am , and I complained to security and had to call again with limited change. For the cost of the room, I should have had sound sleep. I think the staff should have known that the new room would be problematic.. I would have appreciated a discount on room cost.

JerseyThe access road was "closed" so difficult to get taxis. The access to the hotel could be better signposted as it looked like you could not drive up to the hotel. Not a problem once we knew we could drive everywhere.

AustraliaIt was so difficult for Ubers and taxis to get in and out. Entrances and exits were closed off at different parts of the day. Protestors with megaphones and drums at 6am every single morning right at the entrance of the hotel caused quite the scene every day.
