Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe noisy neighbours on the first night, people can't behave,,,not the hotel's fault. Old building so you hear eveything. Not the friendliest staff for the price point. My rate 8/10 would be higher for a better price for this accomodation, even knowing that Boston is expensive.
Exact same room shown on the picture, nice set up with all i needed. The shared bathroom was really close and convenient, they provide a lot of towels and such.Loved the typical boston building of the area and the room design. Great area, close to everything and between common boston and fenway. Checkin was efficient

Location was great. Close to everything! Felt safe around to walk even at night.

United States of AmericaThe walls were very thin so I wasn't able to sleep well because I could hear my neighbors throughout the night. But I also understand that this is a problem for city buildings in general so I wouldn't ding this place too much
I love the location and the apartment itself was very cute and perfect size for a solo person

United States of AmericaThere were no instructions available on how to use the built-in induction stovetop, and I did not find it intuitive. But maybe that's not something that trips up other travelers!
Spotless, well-appointed, and cozy. Great location. After-hours check-in was easy and stress-free. I also really appreciated having free cancellation as an option -- that tipped the scales in booking this place as opposed to another.

United States of AmericaThis structure is an extended hotel, meaning that they have various locations 10 minutes from the main address. I wish this information was highlighted somewhere because we found it out the day we arrived, and we had to walk with our luggages to the actual destination. However, the location of the apartment itself was very convenient and super close to Whole Foods and CVS.
Rooms were quirky and very comfortable. I appreciated they had a kitchenette with Keuring, tea pot, toaster and microwave and a private bathroom with hairdryer. There were also convenient iron and ironing boards. The furniture was cute and the king bed quite comfortable.

United States of AmericaThe rooms are in different buildings. We got lost between the two and wandered around in the frenzy freezing wind. ☹️. The reception worker came looking for us—maybe they watch for your arrival on a camera. It would have been much better if he had just walked us over. I’m
Really comfortable and practical. Well-appointed kitchenette.

United States of AmericaAfter 3 knee surgeries, I really didn't like the super low tiny toilet. Also, like many inns there were no towel hooks and only one tiny towel bar.

We really liked the room, plenty of clean towels and a little kitchenette and table/chairs. It was clean and the shared bathroom was clean aswell. The location was great and just a short walk to supermarket, Boston common and shopping areas. Staff were friendly and there’s a computer you can use near reception if you need

CanadaBeing an old building noise insulation isn't that good and could clearly hear when someone upstairs was walking around.
Excellent location and proximity to the T. Safe neighborhood and the room had a small kitchen too and was pet friendly.

IsraelThere is room service The rooms are located in different buildings around the reception. Mine was across the street but it might even be a block or two away. There are no elevators. The building is old and was a bit smelly.

UkraineOur room was not huge, but it was just perfect for 2 people. We were lucky to have a bay window, so it was a perfect Boston experience. We had a kitchenette in the room with all the utensils we needed. But if you need to cook (we didn't do that), you'd need to buy oil, salt and such stuff. Our place was close to the metro, supermarket and shopping centre. We'd definitely stay here our next time in Boston.
