Steam room could have been a bit hotter. Hot tub is a bit small and was always crowded unless you went at off times.

The hotel was excellent. Really great location, nice coffee/tea/water bar and restaurant downstairs. Room was large and very comfortable. Nice bathroom set up with two sinks and lots of storage for ski gear. Nice porch and views from the unit we stayed in. Hot tub is nice when available. Service was excellent.

Snowpine lodge— I know that’s not snowbird,

I didn’t know there was breakfast! I loved the view out the room, the quick responses to requests like a pull out mattress and a last minute shuttle up to snowpine.

There was no air condition, our room was 80 degrees and we were very hot and had to leave our balcony doors open to let the cool breeze in. Nevertheless we had a million dollar view of the mountains. It was worth it.

I wish we'd had a microwave in the room and that there were a few more non restaurant food options. We got tired of eating out, but there wasn't a great assortment in the 2 "markets" and we had no way of heating things up. I will say it was April and a lot of the less casual eating places had closed, so that contributed to our dilemma.

I loved the minimalism of it...that it wasn't overdone. While a good value, its not what I would describe as basic budget although its not opulent luxury either. Its just what you need to be comfortable and appreciate what you're there to do which is ski amazing country and be one with nature. The location is perfect - so easy to get to great skiing and to access amenities at the 3 other hotels. And the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable and had beautiful views of the mountain

Centrally located. Could walk to the tram. Bellhop would take you to wherever you wanted to go in Alta and Snowbird. Heated pool, hot tub and sauna.

Noise is a major problem. Any sound made in the hall is amplified like in an echo chamber. Can clearly understand the neighbor’s conversation.

This was the noisiest resort we have ever stayed at, and we travel worldwide. The pool was filled with over 40 adults and kids who were screaming and yelling up until the 10 pm closure. Even with the doors closed tight it was impossible to carry on a conversation in the room, let alone try to sleep prior to 10pm. Bistro server was very poor and lacked any interest in his job or in ensuring we had a nice experience.

The room was large enough, location easy access to main terminal building. The food in the Bistro was very good but the server was one of the worst we’ve found.

After a nearly 14 hour trip, I arrived at the lodge next in line for check in. The person in front of me didn't know what he wanted and literally had dozens of questions, many he kept repeating. The guy behind the counter was slow on the computer and slow with answers and didn't care that I was waiting. I waited over 20 minutes to check-in. (It took me two minutes once he had time for me, with no apologies for ignoring me and making me wait and was actually rather unfriendly. The bed was lumpy soft and had a horrible squeak. We had to let the water run for 5 minutes to get anything close to hot water. It is off-season and still nearly $200 a night, with most restaurants closed and no microwave in the room. Definitely not worth it.

The only real positive experience was the incredible view of the mountains. The rest of the area is beautiful as well.

Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable at all (they are a pullout)

It was a very warm hotel with a very friendly staff! Fantastic location as my gf and I were in the middle of everything! Fantastic view of the mountains from our room.
