Annoying phone was ringing in the middle of the night, several times. We called reception to advise and they were really rude (unlike the rest of the staff we experienced) It was a bit like it isn’t our problem! Well we hadn’t given the number to anyone, so after the unhelpful reception desk person hung up on us, when we asked to speak to the management - is was easier to pull the plug out of the phone. No apology was given!!

I had difficulty accessing the wifi on my laptop however the staff connected me with IT Help who assisted in resolving it.

No bar on site within hotel but there was plenty of options within a short walk from the hotel.

Location was ideal with lots of attractions close by. The subway was directly outside hotel and another line was within a short distance. Our trip was great due to the wonderful warm welcome we received, when we entered the hotel for the first time on our arrival, and every single time we moved in/out of the hotel. Every single staff we met, was friendly and very courteous. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with assisting us with some of the questions.

The pictures advertised can be a bit misleading as I believe most of the pictures are of a suite / studio room, and there aren't many of a standard room, which is what we booked. The property does not offer breakfast or has any dinner/room service, but we were already aware of this when booking from reading previous reviews, so it did not bother us. There are also quite a few of restaurants close by / next to the hotel that have good food. Overall we did really enjoyed our stay at The Quin hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel location is superb, as so many attractions are located within walking distance: Central Park, MoMA, Rockefeller Centre, Times Square, Broadway and 5th avenue; There are also a few subway stations very close by, so it is very easy to travel within Manhattan. The hotel staff were very helpful and housekeeping was great! The room and bathroom were standard size, nicely decorated, have AC and electric blackout curtains, and I loved having the Nespresso machine in the room.

Stayed 5 nights. The first impression I had upon entering the hotel was “it’s nice’. The hotel lobby, elevator, carpets and room were clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. They reached out to me asking if I wanted or needed any assistance. The room (15th floor) was quiet, could rarely hear any sirens from emergency vehicles, could not hear street noise or my neighbors. The room had ample storage for clothes and our luggage (under the bed). The window was large providing loads of light and had black out shades operated electronically. The bathroom was extremely bright, clean they provided everything I required. Our room had a couch that was a bonus place to sit and read. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. There was a HUGE TV that faced the bed. Numerous lamps throughout the room provided lights for different purposes (reading lights for bed were nice). The location of the hotel is stupendous. Walking distance to many of the NYC metro, shopping, Times Square, 5th ave, subway & restaurants.

We loved the location and the value for the money. The rooms were very spacious for NYC and elegant with full tub and nice bathrobes. The Nespresso machine was an added bonus and you can’t beat the location so close to the flagship Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Dior and just steps to Nordstrom. There were also many great restaurants and it’s near Central Park and the theaters. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There was no food within the hotel like room service etc. If we ordered food to the hotel it would be left randomly in the reception and for only the delivery person to call you and let you know it was dropped there your food would sit there until you get it.

The bed were so comfy it was hard to get up and explore the city!! Staff were all so friendly, smiley, kind and helpful. Location of the hotel was just perfect!

The hotel has privately owned units and at check in we were heavily pressured to take part in a timeshare-like sales presentation. They were extremely pushy about it! Also checkout on the weekend was 10am - that is very early for a mainstream hotel chain and didn’t make the weekend very relaxing.

Room was super clean, very large and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a coffee maker and fridge in the room. The location was fantastic. The staff were friendly.

Only two very minor issues: 1. you can hear the shower running in the adjacent room, pretty loudly, if you had a neighbor. 2. There’s no bellman to help with the luggage upon checkout before 7am.

I don’t know how I didn’t discover this hotel before- easily one of the best ones I’ve stayed at in the city. Convenient location, clean and large rooms (which seem to be recently renovated), easy check in and check out process, small fridge that fits a lot of food, punctual and efficient housekeeping, the list is too long. Super!
