Good location, near beaches. Breakfast OK, had what I needed, seating area small & somewhat cramped. Checkin was good, staff friendly & accommodating, comfy bed, balcony good for sitting & watching the boats on nearby inlet.

Can't think of anything negative to say except that I had planned on an early check in (around 2 pm) and when I arrived my room wasn't ready. That was the first time this happened and I was surprised. I need to add though that to their credit, they were in the process of putting new mattresses in all the rooms!

Been here many times before and will definitely come again. Love the location. You can, literally, walk to several bars, restaurants and the beach. I get to the hotel, park my car and forget it until I leave the next day. Just what I'm looking for, a relaxing night away and that is exactly what I get. The staff is friendly, accommodating and always smiling!

No problems, As I said, the issues have been taken care of.

This was my seventh straight year of taking some vacation time at this hotel and visiting family I have in the area. My first four stays were great. The next two had issues involving room keys, housekeeping and the pool and jacuzzi area in the back. I still liked this hotel and decided to come back. I had another great stay just like the first four. They obviously listened when I brought these issues up in my last two reviews. The problems have clearly been fixed. As always, I love relaxing out on the dock and the beach at night out back, The water temperature in the pool was the best it ever was since I have been coming here, the hotel was as usual quiet when it's supposed to be. The hotel is in an excellent location as there are plenty of beaches, parks and good places to eat nearby. I had a very nice relaxing stay here just like I use to. Like I have said in the past, you know you had a great stay when you hate the fact that your checkout time is approaching. If all goes well, I hope to return again next winter as I really enjoyed this stay as this hotel made a nice comeback for me by fixing the problems of the past.

I did not like the continental breakfast served. It could definetly use more choices or if it has be a limited menu, a better selection to choose from.

Ladies at the front desk should be provided uniforms. the grooming( hair and PJ sytle outfit) of some were not professional, but they were polite and smiled. To call yourself a plaza, front desk is 1st impression.

The carpets in the hallways were tired and stained.

Very comfortable, property is a bit dated but maintained nicely. Location has a pool, private beach on the river and a dock you can enjoy the water views from. Staff was welcoming and efficient. The breakfast setup was organized, fresh, clean and tasty. Coffee and juices were available all hours, which was great.
