To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomAs Brits abroad we would have appreciated a kettle in the room but realise coffee is king in USA. We were two adults and 1 child (age11). We had a room with two double beds. There was a lot of furniture in the room which meant we didn't have a lot of room for cases, but we managed as obviously only really sleeping there.
Good hotel in a great location. We asked for a city view and could see Empire State Building! Cafes for breakfast within walking distance. We walked from Penn Station to hotel with our luggage, was easy to find and took about 15 mins. Can walk/subway to wherever you want to be. Most staff were very helpful and friendly. Everywhere was very clean and cleaners were super helpful for anything needed. Due to the weather we did not get to use the roof top bar.

The Hotel Staff could not have been more helpful and always engaging, the complimentary tours were amazing, both Jocelyn and Hector superb tour guides, and the rooftop bar, well what a view and the cocktails amazing, Ideal location for right in the centre, Subway close by and main attractions either 15 minute walk or by Subway.

This hotel was so perfect for our trip to New York. The room was a great size and we had the most incredible view of the Empire State Building and a gorgeous New York street. The staff were so friendly and really welcoming every day. The room was cleaned so nicely every day. The extras like the rooftop bar, the daily tours on offer, and even the candy shop in the cafe were such lovely touches and made the hotel feel very special. The bed was so comfy. United KingdomArea from 7th Avenue going west a little rough but we were walking around at 6am on last day to catch a train from Penn Station to DC.
Reception Staff were superb as was the concierge although we didn't use any of the activities on offer as we are frequent NYC visitors but a nice touch. May sound off but the lobby smelt amazing and was very cool. The rooftop bar offers fantastic Empire State Building views and was in no way as pompous as other rooftop bars in the area. Wonderful hotel all in all.

This is my new Go to stay in New York. The hotel staff at this location is bringing Customer Service Back. We had such a lovely time at this ideal location in the heart of Midtown New York City. It was the coldest weekend in January, but we were greeted with warm and smiles leaving the hotel and returning. The entire team was more than gracious, and accommodating making our stay completely amazing. I have to Shout out to the entire team, from Jhon, William, Carlos, Nikita, Michela, Sharif, Nicolas, and my favorite Carter. I don't know if I met the manager but I think he is great too. I could go on and on. I will do one better, We will be back next year, we are staying at your hotel again, and I want to see all my new friends in January 2025 I looked up my dates for next year. I hope you are not booked up already See you soon Friends!

United States of AmericaWhen I called back to why my charge was $100 more the lady at the front desk was completely rude. No one said there was an incidental charge when I showed up for booking, which all I needed was an explanation. I didn't know the $100 would come off after done pending on card. So I nicely asked "oh so that $100 will come off then?" Her response with an attitude was "yeah that is literally what I just said". As I proceeded to ask for her name she hung up on me. That in itself would make me not want to stay here again. After getting my money staff doesn't care about being nice to you anymore.
The location was perfect and we enjoyed our stay while there. We loved the view of the empire state building from our window.

Housekeeping came in everyday to make sure our room was spotlesss and the staff went above and beyond in their hospitality and kindness every single day as well. To top it off, the city view with the Empire State Building from our room window was just gorgeous! Will definitely come back here and recommend to our family and friends!
