To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe parking spots are super small and the rooms are really old. The walls are thin so you can hear everything from the other rooms.
We were looking for something cheaper and needed a parking spot. We got it. The rooms are old and could use some renovations but for our two nights it was okay. The stuff is really helpful.

AustraliaIt’s a little dated, but it was clean and tidy. SF is struggling with a drug epidemic so there was some unsavoury folks around the streets. Nothing that made me (+45F) feel unsafe.
Great location. We got a wonderful walk in in the morning, down to Fort Mason and along the water to the GG Bridge.

United States of AmericaThe manager attitude is not so welcoming saying if you don't like, just leave. Well, I am not that attitude. Plus leaving with no refund. He said i got what I paid and not Hilton hotel. I told him, I never stay at Hilton not because of money or of luxury. I told him I may return, just need improvement. They need business just as guests need a comfortable stay just basics are good enough. I come for work, not vacay.

United States of AmericaIt’s bare bones -bathroom is small and as I’ve said in the past, it’s a very dated property that needs serious sprucing up. Also, there was some felon looking guy smoking pot outside my door and my whole room smelled. I had to tell him to stop.
Parking is good. TV works well bed is relatively comfortable. The receptionist young man was pleasant to deal with .Place is actually fairly quiet.

Sure, it wasn’t perfect but it was pretty good for what you pay in San Francisco and the location. Very safe neighborhood with lots to do around. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet. The front desk staff was really nice also

I’ve stayed here multiple times and it’s good enough for one or maybe two nights, although the place is somewhat dilapidated, and in need of some serious renovation and new furnishings but it’s a good location and free parking helps

United KingdomThere wasn't a fitted sheet on the bed, it was just a sheet and a mattress protector that didn't fit properly, so when you even just got into bed, it pulled out and moved around. The room was clean but not kept very updated and there were a few things that could have been easily fixed, like the shutters and a couple of the light bulbs needed changing. Only one working socket in the bathroom, which wasn't ideal.
The motel was really centrally-located, which was fantastic. To say it was on a main road, it wasn't too noisy whilst I was there. The room was large and the bed was comfortable.
