Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a customer at the front desk ahead of us in line when we arrived. There was only one clerk(employee). She could not find any reservation for the gentleman. They worked and worked to try to find it for more than 10 minutes while we stood and waited. We had a confirmed reservation with a printout and she could easily have asked the gentleman to wait a moment while she chcked us in. Instead she kept us standing and waiting. I think it was a bad situation that could have been handled better!
The room was clean. It had a freezer in the refrigerator which we really needed.

The bed I slept in was so hard I couldn’t sleep. The breakfast was left to be desired. The cold cereal was the best option. There was also no soap by the bathroom sink you had to get the body wash hooked to the wall in the shower to wash your hands.
The value was there. The WiFi was great, set up was nice.

I was very disappointed that there was not a hairdryer in the room. Also, the heater was very noisy!
Breakfast was good. The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

The room is small...can't change that. Would have been nice to have more furniture like a desk and chair. Chair that was in the room was pretty shabby.
Bare bones comfort. No desk. No pictures. But a good bed. Room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good.

No Kleenex, no shampoo, no conditioner, floor filthy, 3 guests booked but only 2 towels, facecloths, hand towels, in room coffee only for 2.
Beds good, staff friendly, other than floor reasonably clean, shower pressure/heat good.

The TV was little & placed in a poor position for watching from the bed. The bathtub stopper would not hold for the water... Lots of street noise with sirens, plus a car alarm went off two separate times at length.
Our room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Good breakfast.

Nothing.
The room and facilities were clean and good. There was also a typical US breakfast in the lobby. Also in the neighborhood are some (fastfood) restaurants. Reception was friendly.

Light /plug next to bed not working. It was not a bulb issue; we tried changing a working light bulb… must be wiring issue. Made room dark.
Good breakfast; eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, juice. Staff kept well stocked. Front desk lady super helpful and kind. Wish I had noticed her name…

The room had been redecorated but did not seem finished; the wires were cluttered half behind the TV and one of the curtains fell off when we tried to lower it. Need some finishing touches. The mattress was unfortunately hard as a rock. The surroundings of the hotel were pretty noisy, truckers and bikers leaving early (way before 7 AM) in the morning with a ruckus.
The breakfast was nice and our room had just been renovated.

No room cleaning/towel replacing during a four day, three night stay. Complimentary toiletries were great but some were empty…when staff alerted and said they would replace it did not happen.
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was great every morning.

The room smelled of paint. It also wasn't as clean as it normally is, but we have stayed in worse. Was put in overflow section, away from main set of buildings. Didn't care for that but overall it was fine.
I love this hotel. It is still the best value around. Breakfast was great.
